When Ole Miss signed Lame Kitten, did they expect to be happy with 8-4 seasons and losing to Mississippi State? They are all saying this year that they are happy to be 8-4 and the 4th best team in the SEC West.

I’m just happy to sometimes win against bad teams and to look good in the grove. Well worth $9.5 Million

Nice troll but no. We are fine. 8-4 in a rebuilding year with a bunch of young offensive talent is fine. Sucks losing a game to state you should have won but it happens. When 8-4 is a bad year for OM then the program is doing ok.

I remember all the excuses UGA used to make before Kirby finally pushed y’all to the top.

Decades of “this is our year!!!” “No one will stop our RBs!!” Only to finish 10-2 or 9-3.

We are still in our excuses part of the process. We will soon upgrade to the Kirby part of the process but we still have to put in our time like UGA did.

We kept our coach. Win the bowl and go 9-4. Rebuilding year. Auburn is a shite show. Frick them. I’m good. Why is tRant so pissed at OM?

8-4 is a good season but the way it ended was bitter. Hopefully we can win our bowl game, because 9-4 > 8-5.

You didn’t finish 10-2 or 9-3.

Happy? No, but I think we understand the circumstances of the season.

I think Ole Miss fans know the program is light years ahead of where it was 3 years ago.

"Lame Kitten"

Did you think that up while hanging out at Dollar General, buying your next Georgia tshirt?

We did last year. And then we lost our starting QB for this year.

This was a rebuilding year. I, personally, don't know that Ole Miss has the capacity to ever win a NC (or even appear in the SECCG for that matter), but we're in a much much much better place as a program than we've been in the past. So yes, we're pretty happy.

Given what we had to endure due to your boosters being a bunch of rats on Tunsil along w state and Bama, I’m very glad that we’re 5 seasons removed from getting our sentence and sitting here at 8-4 and being able to stave off the Auburn poachers.

I think he's talking about football Marshall Henderson.
The place is a white trash magnet.

You're not wrong. I worded that poorly. Losing Corral to NFL. New QB this year.

Lane is a very good coach, imo.

It was still pretty bad to let the leaving rumors distract the team when he could have nipped it by signing the extension.

Hopefully, the extension has something in it to discourage that next year. He can't keep leveraging OM to the point it distracts the team.
