I wish I could have heard y’all’s band play it in person.

The moment when ‘The Battle Hymn Of the Republic’ comes in is incredible.

I was in the band at Ole Miss and the feeling in the stadium when we got to the Battle Hymn of the Republic section was indescribable. It still gives me chills when I think about it.

Probably lost in the discussion is the fact that this is essentially ripped off from Elvis, a Mississippi native, as it is the trilogy he ended his concerts with.

Amazing how a few woke stupid fricks can ruin traditions. It's just music, and players don't care, or don't know what the songs are. It's those very few lib tards that are probably not even at games who want to dictate what's played, sang, said, etc. And these traditions are gone forever.

Which is why I don’t get the hatred for the song. It’s not a confederate song. Ole Miss created it as a mesh of both Dixie and Battle Hymn of the Republic, it’s a song meant to symbolize unity between the north and south.

Anything the gay journalists in New York don't like they seem to have the power to make it go away, because our leaders are afraid of getting cancelled. Anyone who has tried to stand up to them, starting with Anita Bryant in the 70's has lost their career, so I understand it.

I am still pissed off at them cancelling our Gator Bait cheer. Sorry arse motherfrickers.

Dayum shame that woke progressive politics can destroy traditions. We have a bunch of entitled PoS weaklings that run around trying to find something to be offended by so they can get social media credibility.

Two of the Greatest Songs from the American Songbook. Reminded me of Elvis’s American Trilogy.
