I'm going to watch and will be invested as long as its close. I just use to be so hyped for games and now the program just feels dead.

I'm excited. We only get a handful of CFB games a year. Win/lose/draw I am still an AU alumni and proud of it.

Auburn is buzzing today and it has been a long time coming. It is good to feel the excitement in town.

I think the older I get the less a lot of things matter like they did. But I love Auburn football so I always want to win. However when/if it won’t be the first time they have let me down

I hate it but I'm right there with you. I bought in last year at 6-1, ended up looking stupid. Hard to let myself be fooled again.

Hell yeah I’m excited. It’s the third week of college football. Im still fairly young but as life progresses I’ve learned to enjoy Saturdays for what the are, a day to watch a sport and school I love, as well as a chance to disconnect from work and all the noise that comes M-F.

When I was in school I saw Auburn have the best year in school history and then a few years later have its worst. If you’re hitching your happiness to that wagon then I have bad news for you.

I think that by next season we will have a new head coach and that things will start to get better. We just have to hang on and wait.

You're young. As you get older and see the roller coaster we are longer first hand, you will get more cynical. Won't mean you love Auburn less

No, you don't have to.

Excited?

Yep.

It's now two games and I'm still not sure how this season goes.... And that's what makes it a bit more interesting/fun.

( The not so fun - no sense of direction - but that's not always bad before the SEC season begins. )

You should try Roman if you’re having trouble getting up

I think I’m more anxious than anything. Tomorrow could really define what Auburn football is for the next few years. Win it and Harsin has a really good chance to start out 5-0. Lose the game and things could start falling apart.

I’ve seen it plenty. One day, as you get older, you will see that you don’t need to have your happiness and emotions tied up into a bunch of kids.

I think that is one of those lessons that is learned, not taught. Unfortunately

Too much negativity here, we’re winning tomorrow.

I want to win and think we can win tomorrow. And my mental jury is still out on Harsin so it’s not like I’ve decided this era has no chance. I just know I’m not buzzing about Auburn football for the first time since 1998 and I don’t really know why.

I dont agree with that. We have been winning our OOC games over the past years for the most part and it didnt change anything.

AS long as we are losing to GA, LSU, Bama and others in our conference, we are not going to move forward. That was the reason for the coaching change. Because we were not moving forward.

Tomorrow is merely another game against a OOC team. We have been winning them. Its the in conference teams that are defining us. We could win tomorrow if the stars line up on offense but I dont see where we will get the points from. Maybe we can run it against them

I think we can beat Mizz just with more talent but I think LSU will be a tough one for us

Lets just see what happens
