He is the second worst OC in Alabama history. Dave Rader is the only one worse.

WR weren’t getting open or making catches either. Just a piss poor performance all around.

Just imagine if he was working with a jpw or mcelroy instead of what he's had

He sucks but the OL was not good either. Texas kept getting pressure. Also the receivers were not getting open consistently enough. It’s possible there’s no true no.1 receiver on the team

BOB cant scheme anyone open. He does nothing to help his recievers get open and help his QB

Sark with this same offense puts up 40 today

O-lines look a lot better when OC's run plays they can win. Probably not a coincidence our line has looked bad for two years.

Did we run any quick slants? Bryce seems to hold the ball a long time like last year...yet when we tempo or play quicker we do better. BoB just seems to call plays that take a long time, putting pressure on the OL and it just doesnt seem to work...same issues as last year. When we go faster, we play better and score....

Ever whose fault it is, for the 2nd year in a row, this team can’t play in front of a hostile crowd. And for the 2nd year in a row, Bama can’t run the football. It’s clear Jase McClellan is the best back we have and our receivers are possession at best. Lots to clean up. But at least the team is 2-0

I am really puzzled at the late 4th down play call. Why not run under center and put a big lineman in to block. Stupid to run shotgun formation. I think we already had the first down because I think there is no way they look at that run by Gibbs and say he did not make it after they called it first down on the field.

I hate that shite. But shouldn't have had Roydell in that spot. He trips more than any RB on the team.

Gibbs is a top 2-3 RB in the country.

Shitty turf doesn't help either. They should consider banning it on open fields

Yeah, exactly. What BOB is doing is basically perfectly engineered to make our OL (and pretty much every other offensive unit) look as bad as possible. Wolford getting hung out to dry.

More generally though, BOB’s game planning is hopelessly behind the times and not suited to today’s college game, and his ability to play up weaknesses, minimize deficiencies, and find schematic advantages in real time is totally nonexistent. And there is so little on the way of adjustment that you have to wonder whether he’s completely unable to conceive of adjusting or if he’s just really stubborn. It’s remarkable. And a total shame too, because there’s plenty of talent.

His offense doesn’t put any stress on the defense. He is very predictable and our wr’s run to long of routes when the pressure is on. We could have slanted them to death today but we didn’t call it
