Except for the past 2-3 weeks he has been a huge positive for this program and has really elevated us. I’m frustrated as frick with him and won’t be upset if he leaves but he has left us in MUCH better shape than we were before. So I would agree with we are lucky to have had him.

We are lucky to have Kiffin. Him leaving for Auburn would be a disaster and would set the football program back years.

We've offered to make him a top 5 paid coach and raised over a million more NIL money than what he told us he needed this year for recruiting.

We've exceeded what he's asked us to do to keep him happy and he's still looking at every major opening.

With the resources we are willing to spend, we could replace him easily.

Henry, I didn’t think we looked at all flat or uninspired against Alabama. That was only an issue the last two games possibly which coincided perfectly with the Auburn shite. Just saying.

Again, that was just the perfect storm for State last night with our off the field issue. And they were able to do it by doing the one thing they could do - absolutely sell out on stopping the run and just hope we couldn’t torch them with the passing game. And between dropping balls and not kicking we did just enough to lose. That’s about all it amounted to.

Don't be an apologist for a narcissistic a-hole because he won 10 games in a historically down era of SEC West football.

Lane has his head so far up his own arse he’s incapable of acknowledging Its his own self inflicted fault for how this season ended

Can’t blame that shite on fan support or attendance .

He’s a narcissist of the highest order where it’s always someone else’s fault

I hope so. The adversity we’re facing right now will be good for this group. I’m excited about Dart, Judkins, etc. and the potential for even better transfers. Dart showed me something on that last drive last night. I’m all in on him.

Dart said last night or this morning that no matter what happens he's committed to Ole Miss.

He's already used his free transfer, but it sounds like he's 100% all in

Pretty sad when 19 year olds show more maturity than our 47 year old man child coach.

You don't know this and neither does any else claiming insider information. He was supposed to sign a contract w/ AU today and that didn't happen. The truth is we are still rebuilding and the early schedule had a lot of people thinking we were better than we really were. I would love to see an upgrade at both coordinators though.

Dude, it’s what he has done at every stop he has ever been at.

when in his career has Kiffin not looked for a bigger/better job?

that’s true. But we still should’ve finished with a better than we did

Don't tell me you expected him to stay at FAU? All coaches look out for their best interests, and we were never going to be Lane's last stop. Our best option at coach next year by far is Lane Kiffin. I'm not ready to roll the dice on a messy elongated hiring process and resulting crap recruiting class. I want to see Lane, Dart, Judkins, and company (and some new coordinators).

Me too. I know our schedule is brutal next year. This team can be really good. Hopefully our D can get its act together. Maybe we have a P Willi on our roster lol

Not being mentioned much, but our O line could be better as well. Yeah yeah we rushed for all kinda yards this year but we looked pretty poor most of last night. I know they were outnumbered a good bit but still. Also believe that they are better at run blocking than pass blocking. As for Dart, I’ve got no problem at all with him. Have not since Day One. As for Kiffin, if getting what he sees as a better job as the driving force to work harder then I guess I can live with that. I guess.

Hypothetically, I guess you’d say we finished something like 8th overall in the conference if that was a real thing. But the way we looked last night or against Arkansas, I don’t know that we’d beat anybody in the East other than Vandy. Man.

Tied for 6th with Sakerlina, not 8th.

Poor finish, no doubt. Win the bowl game and we are sitting pretty for next year.
