What did Kiffin do that made it all about him? He isn’t the one that was putting out Auburn info. He pretty much shut up with the exception of the WCBI sports reporter. And he kinda had to say something about that. Rumors are one thing…..but reporting on something as a “matter of fact” is the other.
He signed an extension, reaffirmed his commitment to us and people are still pissed at him. Unreal. Our dumbass fans are going to run off the best coach we’ve had in a long time. People need to chill the hell out and just be thankful he stayed.

You just grateful, aren’t you Reb. I understand. I do.

You bet your arse I am
Even if he truly was thinking about it and took a couple weeks, SO WHAT?
My God, how many of us in our lives have taken a couple of weeks to weigh the pros and cons of a career decision? And in the end, after thinking deeply about it, he came to the conclusion that WE are the better option. We should be flattered that after thorough consideration, he was sure we were the right choice. Geez man - some of our fans love being miserable.
Anyways, rant over

What a dumb reason to stay
Posted on 11/26/22 at 7:40 pm to ManBearSharkReb
It’s respectable. Both of his kids finally live with him and probably love the slower pace Oxford brings their lives. I’d be willing to bet they get more time with Lane too.

Hey, if, and that’s a strong if, his kids are the only reason he chose to stay he can join the club of about 75% of other adults who don’t bolt from one job to another in another city. Of course this decision still netted him approximately $2 million extra dollars so in that regard it’s a little frickin’ different than the average person.
On a completely unrelated note, and since this is the most knowledgeable and caring OM crew I know of, anybody watching Plumlee tonight? Granted, it’s against lowly, 1-10 South Florida, but the dude is 8-8 for somewhere north of 100 yards and one TD passing and has 133 yards rushing and two TDs at the half. What if he had stayed. He has certainly become a better passer and OM wold have a three-headed running monster. How would y’all compare him to Dart, who I very much like btw.

He is nowhere near the level Dart is. He would be third string QB. He left because he wanted to be a QB and not a utility player

Well he’s a way better runner than Dart, but I agree he’s not the overall QB Dart is.

Now we are about to get the LSU loss I figured we might get but we didn’t even get close to keeping our end of the bargain.

Just looked it up... it's irrelevant for us now. BIG vs ACC. Kinda annoying bc I always enjoy random SEC/ACC matchups

Come on Vegas bowl...
Projections I've seen today:
ReliaQuest Bowl v. Minnesota
Liberty Bowl v. Oklahoma

CBS is predicting Music City Bowl against Iowa

Ugh. I guess it could be worse.

Playing Iowa would be a great way for our defense to get some momentum going into the off-season
