Two buddies I was in boot camp with and friends all the way through retired at the same time I did and we through hiked the pacific crest trail. Took us about 8 months as we took our time enjoying it. Probably could have done it in 5 if we hustled.

I'm guessing this is the position that Uga's David Cooper was reportedly approached about.
I don't know anything about NC State recruiting other than their 247 composite ranking (#28) and 247 transfer ranking (#10), but supposedly he's good at what he does:

I think that is good work for a place like NCST. They're not even the flagship in their state and they're a mid-tier team in a weaker P5 football conference.

On3 final top 300 coming out. Mbawkwe and Odom just got their 5th stars. 31 and 30 respectively.

I wonder sheet Jay Lindsey will fit in. I know he wasn't ranked high by recruiting services, but from what I understood, Saban viewed him as a very good player and pushed hard for him.
I'm also thinking that we may not get as many commits this spring and summer as we normally do. I think recruits will want to see what do look like on the field. If we have the year i think we will have, I expect to see quite a few flips later in the year.

If the new staff doesn't hammer the "build a new legacy" angle in recruiting this cycle they have missed the mark IMO. We're in the pretty unique position of getting to sell kids on building something new and exciting while still sitting on a rock solid foundation. Typically you can only do that when a new staff is putting out the dumpster fire set by their predecessors.
