They are probably worried he's going to suddenly start rubbing his butt on them while stripper music plays during media days.

"Well that is an interesting question about our starting left tackle and... oh Jesus... who let him in the room? Security can you get him out of here. No, no, no, Brian... I'm not going to tip you a dollar. You need help man. Lots of help."

I'd be nervous too. No one wants Kelly to start weirding off on them during the post game handshake.

Look a little closer at LSU's recruiting class and you'll see it's pretty frickin' soft despite it's ranking. Recruitniks know this. Just compare it for instance to Alabama's. Saban's recruiting the boy grinder into the dirt.

Anyone who followed Brian Kelly at Notre Dame, knows he's played what amounts to a group of five schedule over the years and even with those soft schedules, he just wasn't a clutch guy. Never has been, never will be.

No one's "nervous" about Brian Kelly.

1. He's won everywhere he's been.

2. The last 3 LSU coaches all won national championships, and 2 of them were congenital idiots.

I'm saving my nervous energy for the first time Josh Pate ever says a discouraging word about an SEC program. He's such a brown nose and has always been in it for the clicks.

LOL Josh Pate is usually pretty good but...no. He's out of touch with reality here.

He's a remorseless killer. Anybody should be at least tentatively nervous in the presence of such a sociopath

Serious question, not a troll. I hear the media touting LSU this upcoming season possibly being top 4 in the SEC and am curious to what I’m missing?

Will have a new QB and new coaching staff. Is the belief that Kelly will change things that much over night just by his strategy?

Which brings me to my last question, what are LSU expectations this year?

Kirby is 2-0 vs Kelly, not sure why he’d be scared

Somehow I doubt a coach who went 4-8 with a top 10 roster is making other SEC coaches nervous.

So what is the difference? How might one quantify this stupid shite? Drivel.

It seems the nervous energy is ratcheting up as various fanbases desperately try to convince themselves that Kelly will suck.

LSU’s all time record is
823-427-47

Which is very good.

However that equates to a .653 winning average which means they are an 8-4 team with an occasional 7-5 record and then an 8-10 or more wins here and there.

So I don’t get any nervous energy about Kelly. I think he is a good coach who will do well at LSU and maybe even win a NC.

But historically they are an 8-4 program and that is likely what he will be as well.

Just like State is a 6-6 team historically that bumps up or down from that.
