I haven't watched much of him on video, etc., and I'm sure he's still a decent QB.

What do you recruiting experts out there in Rant Land say about him? Agree with Rivals writer, Mike Farrell, who is the former national director of recruiting for Rivals.com, or not?

The few videos I have watched of his shows the level of the teams he plays against looks about the same as Freshman team in 6A football if even that level. So hard to tell because his comp is pathetic.

No he wouldn't. At worst, he'd be a high 4. He definitely gets a bump from his last name, though.

Are you implying that a kid that won't show up to any camps to throw against his peers and wouldn't even throw at his own family's camp against his peers might be coasting on his name alone?

Possibly. That name carries a ton of weight.

I've seen him play a few times and I've been around Nola football for a few years.

He's not been overly impressive in games he misses high quite a bit. He's substantially more athletic than his uncles. He doesn't have Peytons arm but there's few people that every had Peytons arm and work ethic.

He's more of his grandfather than anyone but make no mistake, every now and then he flashes and you can see the potential and there's a frick load.

People banging on this kid because his schools small is kind of hilarious. You wanna guess where Eli and Peyton went to school?

The Nico kid going to Tennessee has a better arm.

Holstein is a better athlete.

Dante Moore and Malachi Nelson both are probably more college ready and better QBs today.

But the Manning pedigree carry's weight, rightfully so imo.

I would agree, but not a three star, probably a high 4. Texass fans are already claiming that this is only because he committed to Texass. Personally I am happy with Jackson Arnold.

I think folks need to figure out who paid a college OC to come coach him in High School for one season.

He would be a mid level 4 star without the family name

I was thrilled he chose Texas. He plays in a joke high school classification and will fail massively at Texas.

In all seriousness, I think he’s overrated. Plays weak competition and dodged the Elite 11. I don’t want to hear about how he competes at the Manning Passing Academy. Texas is now going to have to deal with the entire Manning family which will probably be a distraction. Quinn Ewers is much more talented. Arch better get a great NIL deal because he will be exposed soon enough.

Arch is overrated. He’s perfect for Austin

Farrell has been one of the best. That said he’s kind of outing their own biased click hype that goes into some ratings isn’t he? Seems like a bad business decision to say this.
