I’m not sure if it is more impressive making more than half the all time college world series ever played or more underwhelming to only have 6 titles in that many appearances. Truly a bizarre stat

Just wish we had more than 6 trophies to go with that.
Omaha is an unbelievable experience that should never be taken for granted. It's also heartbreaking for 7 teams each year.

That's baseball. Look at FSU
23 appearances in the CWS and 0 titles
23 appearances in the CWS and 0 titles

Southern California with 21 appearances but none since 2001. They have 12 CWS titles. But have only made the NCAA tournament 5 times since 2000. The last in 2015.
That program taking a nose dive intrigues me.

Gotta respect it. Extremely impressive.

Overall success is more than the rest. But lately, they haven't been producing like the rest of the bluebloods (like Kansas, Duke, UNC in basketball)

That’s a .157 winning percentage once you get there.
I will be rooting for you..........................
When you play 8&2&Q, otherwise I’d love to see you 2&Q

Considering 8 teams go that's actually a little above the .125 average. Still pretty impressive.

When you’re winning percentage is zero. I guess.157 looks really good

Simple math:
37 trips x 12.5% = we should have about 5 championships.. we have 6
37 trips x 12.5% = we should have about 5 runner ups.. we have 6
Not sure on the rest.. and maybe simple math shouldn’t be used based on ranking etc, but I would say that is pretty in line.
Another crazy stat imo..
Texas is 11-1 all time in Super Regionals
3-0 on the Road
8-1 at Home
