Seriously, SEC Network, must you forcefeed the women's sports?

'SEC Now' Saturday night recap program leads with lengthy segment on women's hoops before touching men's. Really, what percent wants to see this? They do the same with softball when far more interesting baseball action can be featured. PC BS.

Yeah it makes no sense.

Softball is far more entertaining. This is the correct order.

ESPN with their usual woke pandering liberal nonsense.

At least some of the softball players are cute.

Y’all literally just find shite to be mad at for no reason don’t y’all?

Uh, it’s their conference tournament. Of course they are going to show it.

Yeah, while I'm happy for the women doing well I change the channel pretty much every time a segment comes on. I don't mind a short highlight but a human interest piece pretty much guarantees I just turn it off.

Do people honestly watch ESPN/SECN for anything other than games?
You can watch highlights easily

I thought just like you until I had daughters myself, and now I view it differently. They deserve a chance at things and some accolades for competing.

"Wokeness" by companies is usually "pushing for something that financially benefits the company while pretending it is really for social justice." Is ESPN heavily invested in the WNBA? I assume it must be. They've been trying to manufacture a market for women's basketball for years now. They could showcase women's sports that people actually care about, like gymnastics or softball, but they choose to push women's basketball like crazy.

The SEC has Women’s sports?

It’s SEC woman’s tournament week. So of course they play it up. It will be over in a day or two.

It’s been all year. ESPN has been forcefeeding womens basketball.
When are people going to realize nobody gives a frick about womens basketball?

The women's SEC tournament is in progress while the men's teams are still in the regular season.....that is the reason. You snowflakes need to get a real life. The woke..nah...those who cry "woke" are just snowflake, goose stepping, political morons.

BSPN also has to preserve the "March is Women's History Month" narrative.
Posted on 3/6/22 at 8:31 am to Hewonbyalot
Agreed. However, they are having their tournament.

Anyone who agrees with this misogynistic horseshite and has a daughter, whether involved in sports or not should be ashamed by consciously or unconsciously assigning a lesser worth to one of their children because of their gender. Keep them barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen is alive and well here.
