He basically guaranteed this and said that the 4 team Pod format is what it will be so that all rivalry games can remain

He also said it was "purely speculation"...
I could be down with pods but that is completely dependent on what pod we are placed in. Judging by our shite scheduling year-in year-out I'm sure we'll get fricked. Probably OU, Aggie, Lsu, Ark or some shite like that while they protect texas with mizzou and the mississippis. I can feel it coming.

West - OU, Texas, A&M, Arky
South - LSU, Ole Miss, Miss St. Florida
North - Mizzou, Kentucky, Tenn, Vandy
East - Bama, Auburn, UGA, SCAR

What does this mean for the SEC championship game? Rotating pods for 2 pseudo divisions and then championship game from the best in each. 2 best teams by SEC record or mini playoff with each pod winner in a semi game followed by championship game?
