Brian Kelly & staff didn't reach out directly to Denver Harris. Tack Minor has to initiate it first.

He also didn't offer Fields and Burrow who had near 4.0 GPA's and had offers from schools that are more academically challenging than ND. He was too busy golfing and eating.

I guess that is why LSU isn't where any top young HC wanted to go there. Only one was Napier. He was already been a HC in the State of Louisiana. So I believe he would've been the better hired at LSU.

In all fairness I am sure Kelly reached out to them. Problem was they couldn't tell it was BK on the phone with that deep southern accent.
Really just a lack of communication and a big misundastanden.

I love the old "It was a case of the commit being obsessed with LSU but he was too desperate or emotional so it is not our fault and you cant blame our coaches" total bull-$it routine.

Clearly Kelly is clueless.
Seems he isn't highly motivated to win in the SEC considering his start. At least he appears to be enjoying himself on LSU's dime.
Kelly believes that he can ignore 2021 recruiting and just start fresh next year. Putting the program further in the hole while the big 3 in the SEC sign amazing classes.
