We beat Texas A&M with basically a team full of 2nd and 3rd string guys. STFU and quit worrying about LSU, you have the top class in the SEC this year and you will still go 8-4 next year. Don't understand the Texas A&M fan base's infatuation with LSU. When was the last time Texas A&M significant.

Who mismanaged the A&M loss to a depleted LSU team? We will have real coaches next year; be prepared to lose again.

Im sorry that I am not an employee of Texas A&M University's atheltic compliciance department so I cannot provide you with physical proof of Denver Harris' signed LOI. You will just have to wait for his announcement tomorrow

No proof, no violation.
See how that works?

Im pretty sure A&M compliance has the proof

FootsFanatic, what an idiotic post! That’s it, no need to go into detail.

Weird that this is such a common talking point from Lsu. And even if it was the case, a prior relationship would come in handy, no?

so maybe this reflects his lack of established staff.
Staff isn't fully formed, and even some announced hires are working their old jobs.
I think he's just being realistic at this point. The class might not rank high, but if he recruits to need and does well in the portal it will be a good foundational first class.

My feeling as well. Everyone forgets that transition classes, especially one this late in the game due to early signing, are usually rocky.
Kelly will be up and running soon enough and locking down talent in 2022. I can't see a future where this much La talent leaves the state in a similar fashion.

It will happen again.
Louisiana might have a particularly loaded class one year, and there's only one ball to go around. You need to offer everybody to not build resentment from some schools, but if 3 to 4 of the top 20 guys are wide receivers, you have to be smart about who you really want and what other positions are of need. It looks bad that LSU lost out on the top receivers in Louisiana this year, but we have a loaded class from 2021 still.

I understand you don’t like your coach not recruiting well, but please stop ruining the recruiting board. Go nuts of the rant.

In all fairness I am sure Kelly reached out to them. Problem was they couldn't tell it was BK on the phone with that deep southern accent.
Really just a lack of communication and a big misundastanden.
And you think any recruit (in or outside of LA) could understand 3 words that came out of Ed's mouth?

Sad Kelly too lazy to recruit. His wants to rely on his assistants. Sorry Kelly....if you don't get off ur arse...LSU will end up spiraling out of control with a lack of talent compared to your peers.
This worked at Notre Dame but is a recipe for disaster in the SEC.

I hate to tell you, but every head coach relies heavily on their assistants for recruiting. I know for a fact you have no idea what kind of recruiter Kelly is, you’re just running with this lazy take that somehow he doesn’t recruit well. ND sure put a bunch of dudes in the league over the past decade for him being such a poor recruiter.

There is an amazing thread about this on the LSU recruiting board
