Not trolling, serious question. In the era of the playoff, it’s pretty much just a means to an end. And even in some years it’s inconsequential. Is it still a “thrill” to win the SEC if you win it almost every year?

Alabama’s season goals are always championships. It’s the mindset of the program. Of course, it still means something.

This year yes because this team struggled most of the year. I feemlike this was a real accomplishment for this team. Next year assuming we bring back who is expected to come back and just an sec champ would be disappointing.

Winning never gets old. How many times do I have to explain this to my barner brethren?

Never gets old, especially when they turn out like yesterday.

Winning the conference championship in the premiere/hardest league in college football will always be a big deal.

Also, there is this.

Alabama - 29

Georgia - 13
LSU - 13
Tennessee - 12

Florida - 8
Auburn - 8

Always happy to win a conference title. This year, we had to win it to assure a spot in the CFP.

To me it means more when it's against a competitive team.

With the way things are now, and you can make the playoffs without even going to Atlanta, an Iron Bowl or TSIO means more to me.

To me, it's the most important thing. It's our conference and it starts with winning it.

Who was the radio guy from Louisiana that barked about along the lines of how its better to win just one, because it feels better?
Hebert?

I think it's more the "game" that stands in the way of a championship run. Most Bama fans are looking for a National Championship rather than an SEC championship

I say, to me personally it's the most important thing to win our conference. I want an sec title every year.
