TV contracts determine kickoff time not the schools. Have to remember it's 730 local for Cal. We have kicked off SEC games at 8pm.

I hear you old man. I will be struggling to get through that. The game thread will also have to be A IM thread.

If espn wanted us to play at 6:00 am the theme would be sunrise special.

Listen to this - which will royally piss you off. We are playing on ESPN after the Bama-Texas game which is at 7pmET/6CT.

Guess, who's playing on ESPN2 at 7Pm/6CT - BAMA AND FRIGGIN TEXAS.

They are showing that game on both channels. All day they have separate games on both ESPN and ESPN2 until that one. I would gladly take ESPN2 and kickoff at 7:30 ET for this game. I fricking hate ESPN corporate though - fricking us over for no discernible financial reason.

Come on guys, its a California team, and I think the West Coast market may be a bit more lucrative than Alabama, so they show it at prime time. And from the sound of all the griping sounds like they are not losing any Auburn viewers because you will stay up anyway

There are also a lot of folks who will want to see Auburn and Alabama games live (I will) so they are satisfying them as well.

Its all good, and they are showing us almost every week, so I dont think they have an issue with us.

Its all good, lets dodge the turds and needles, the fruits and nuts, and have a good game.

Isn’t the Outback Bowl at like 10 am central?

...that is probably the least watched team in the Pac-2 other than Wash. State

Again, I don't see the problem with bumping this game at 3:00 CT or 1:00 PT? CFB is not getting eyeballs in the Bay Area so why do we have to have the shite sandwich this time around? ESPN is shite

I lived in Southern California from 2003 to 2006.
People do not live and die college football out there.

It would not shock me if the crowd at the stadium is 3 equal groups:
1. Cal fans
2. AU fans
3. AU haters.
