If this is true good on him. Everyone has had the chance to take over and no one did it. That’s all I was asking is give the other two a shot. They didn’t step up and take control. Still think Ty Simpson is the best passer but the offense didn’t exactly him once he came in. Buchner needs to transfer again.

I mean out of the guys that have played, he is clearly the best. So not shocking...

The real question is why did he not play against USF. Suspended?

Yes, according to Josh Pate.

I think this was him showing everyone how bad the other quarterbacks are

He did the same at LSU in 2002. Matt Mauck got hurt so Marcus Randall became the starter, he was very meh and people were howling to see Rick Clausen so Saban put him in for a drive or two against Ole Miss and he threw up a few of the ugliest ducks I have seen from an LSU quarterback.

He put Randall back in and nobody complained again.

Saban just needs to say frick it and run a triple option offense.

Could be. Also, given how bad our offensive line has played in pass protection, he may give us the best chance of having an offense because of his legs and deep ball capabilities.

Attitude adjustment. Mac said this morning that Jalen didn't handle sharing reps with Simpson & Buchner last week, that’s why he didn’t play. When you saw Milroe congratulating them on TV vs USF, Mac said that’s not how it went down in practice last week. (fwiw)

It's literally our only chance for success on offense.

If you've got bad offensive line play might as well go with the guy who can use his legs to create a play.

Worst Alabama QB situation I’ve seen since I can remember.

They’d kill for a Shula era QB right now.

There’s a lot you can learn about a player who has experienced disappointment and how he responds. You already know what Milroe is physically capable of now you get to see what kind of man he is.

Brodie could have been a Heisman candidate under Saban. John Parker Wilson quarterbacked a team that won the West. Would kill to have either.

I love Spencer Pennington but I’m not sure he’s much of an improvement.
