No one to blame but themselves

Arky had a ridiculous stretch through the end of regulation and OT without missing one. Maybe 17 straight.
And Green had a terrible shot to win at the end of reg.

We don’t get smith enough shots.

Kessler missed four in a row. Two in regulation at the end where we would have won, then two straight in OT.
Need to get our two missing soldiers back on the court.

Green was determined to be the hero again and it cost us. Well that and shooting 47% from the FT line.
Oh well. Most expected to lose this one. Was probably the toughest regular season game left. Let’s get home and get ready for A&M.

Losing blows and count me solidly out of the camp of we need to lose or whatever.
That said, we didn't have our starting PG, missed 5 million FTs, 2 of our starters were absolute dog shite, and we still could have easily won the game in regulation. We were up 3 with the ball with 1:30 left in regulation, ugh.
The biggest downside about tonight is that I've pretty much given up hope Flanigan will ever return to being even decent.

Kessler kept us in it almost single-handedly. If he would have hit his FT’s it would have been his best college game ever.

Yep, sucks he missed his FTs, but we aren't in a position to win or be in the game without him.

Yeah Kessler was a madman tonight. A few bogus fouls and 4 missed FTs doesn’t even put a dent in him disrupting everything they wanted to do on offense.

Points off turnovers also a season high

Smith took 16 shots, 2nd highest to Greene who took 21. Kessler had 11. They all made a bunch too.
I think Pearl knows this but it’s really up to our guards to dodger Smith the ball. Pearl let’s them play and I hope he starts talking to them about it.
Problem we had KD and all our bench guys go 1 of 5 or 1 of 7

Not happy about a loss, but live the fight in this team.

This team has some flaws, but who doesn't? But this team has fight and talent. On Neutral court ill take this team vs anyone. You go into that arena, get outshot on FTs 32-17 and still get to OT? Regroup and start the streak over Saturday.

Kessler shot better from 3pt range than FTs tonight.
