The vitriol on Twitter is disgusting. Everybody screws up at one time or another. Our players should have our love and support. That is one of the things that sets Auburn apart and one of the reasons why these players choose Auburn.

I haven't been seeking it out but I haven't seen the hate in my general feed.

Is this still a thing?

If a Ref goes out on the court looking for one particular player .......that ref is making too much money for a HOBBY.

Yale Coach or Assistants got the attention of someone who realistically needs to be back at YMCA Community Ball.

This was an example of the old belief that you call a personal foul on the kickoff in football .......just to let everyone know you have eyes in the back of your head. Both your eyes and the foul are mythical.

I’ve seen some chatter on Twitter not liking him. And people IRL have repeated that the fanbase doesn’t like him.

He cost us in the biggest game of the year.

It’s hard to look past that.

I would LOVE to know how many players were ejected in the entire tournament.

My *guess* is the sum total is one.

There was one F2 in the tournament this year, despite being several instances much more egregious than the CBM one.

If you are not the master of your mind and your brain works like that of an undeveloped 8 year old, then sure.

Most reasonable people can look past a player making a mistake that an overzealous crew made an even bigger mistake on choosing to eject him.

Well said although he does need to tone that mouthiness down.

Yeah I mean if he gets ejected in a do or die game next time it's on him. Can't give them anything to latch onto.

That being said, he is absolutely going to get a technical or two next season and this board is gonna meltdown

Maybe, but if the refs were going to have THAT quick a hook on a player's involvement in the game, then they owed it to CBP and/or CBM to let them know before tip that they'd be policing...whatever they thought they were policing.

That's my only real beef with the situation.

I have one more beef with it.
The pussy-arse Yale player throat punched him, then sidled up to him immediately going back the other way, and goaded him into retaliating, then went into drama queen mode screaming at the ref to look what he did to me! LOOK WHAT HE DID TO ME!!!
The more I think about it and see what happened, I really think the Yale coaching staff set out to try and take him out right from the start before the refs had seen any reason to look for dirty play..
Took a cheap shot before the game really got going and then make a Hollywood production out of the retaliation they knew they would get.
It worked, but it is a testament to what absolute trash 99% of Ivy League people are.

He's a great player with a lot of heart. Yale set him up for his ejection likely knowing that he could be volatile if provoked. He needs to work on that weakness.
