You people think that was a flagrant 2 foul? Really? Wow, I mean that’s not flagrant 2 in rec ball.

Uhhh… where do you think it’s coming from, Einstein?

Idk. That’s why I asked.

If you’re implying that it’s Bama trolls then I usually see that way before any coworkers would and I haven’t seen really any of it. Just a tweet here or there.

So if you know where it comes from then let me know.

He's the only guy on the team right now with NBA potential.

I often tell others the same. I believe he has the widest skillset, by far.

Everybody wants to focus on JWill being the key to us making a run, but in reality CBM was the one who was the catalyst, and our most clutch shooter, take it to the rim guy, FT maker in crunch time.
Him getting tossed 3 minutes into the 1st round game was a back breaker.
We should have still won the game, but it shows just how much he carried this team at times.
If he is there in the last 10 minutes, we win that game going away IMHO.
I really cannot think of a time this whole season where he was in a pressure situation and didn't come through...
everyone else on the team, nope, all choked at some point.

CBM led the team by quite a bit and was very high nationally (I wanna say like top 3) in Evan Miya’s Real Plus/Minus stats AKA players most impactful to winning. It was definitely not what we needed to have him ejected.

Looks like Spanish from Old School.

Need him back on the team next season

He missed a free throw to tie Bama in last seconds of our loss to them.

He certainly made more plays than he missed.
We need him to learn from this, and come back even better.

Bruce Pearl animated in defense of Chad Baker-Mazara: "I'll tell the Auburn family, while I know you're disappointed, if someone was messing with your son, you'd stand up for him. Stop messing with my son, I'm calling you out. I'm not having it."

Bruce is telling you to STFU if any of you idiots are blasting him on X or whatever

That helped against Yale didn’t it? SMH.

Please, support things that work, not what fails.
Chad is a main reason we won an SEC Championship this year. Sooo yeah, we are supporting things that work.

I assume you just replied to my message since it was last.

I did not say anything negative about CBM.

He’s not perfect, but he’s certainly one of the 10 best players in CBPs tenure at Auburn.

Good shooter
Great free throw shooter
Great defender
Good handle
Good at the rim
Good mid range

May need more bulk to play more in paint.

Are people still railing on him? Because I see nothing wrong with fans rightfully being pissed as frick at his actions the last several games and venting at costing a season. Is he regretful and deserves a chance to "prove" he finally gets it? Sure, but the tweets aren't adding up. Posting a bunch of bullshite from the locker room, 2 days ago tweeting to embrace the hate. Quit having coaches take up for you with the fans that pay both of your bills and show that you're able to actually grow up.

He’s a fiery dude who threw an elbow. He didn’t commit a crime. He’s getting called all kinds of stuff all over Twitter by folks with Auburn handles. He’s earned every bit of NIL and scholarship spot himself

He can always move on to his fourth school… this isn’t small college ball … positions on the team are earned and dumb decision making loses games

He earned every bit of rants day of, day after, and day after that. He supposedly apologized and gets it...now show it. On him now.

That is a solid scouting report.
If he gets in the weight room and follows a good diet plan, he could put on 10-15 pounds and turn into a real beast and become a Doughty/Okoro type player next year.

I’m hopeful about Aden.

He’s young.
He will work to improve.
More strength will help.
In ball screens with more strength he will be able to cradle the ball and finish.
At 18 his body is still developing.
I’m betting he hits the weight room and works on his finishes at the rim.

So... by that logic.. CBM is the entire difference between winning and losing? Sounds like a pretty dang important and good player.

If you’re talented enough to help the team win but undisciplined enough to make the team lose, what’s the difference?

I was a little hard on him. I’ve gone back and watched the play again and that vs what I’ve seen in other games is ridiculous. Either he shouldn’t have got ejected or a bunch of players should have been ejected in this tournament.

I like him a lot. He strikes me as one who really wants the ball when its "that time".
