Golesh will decide who and how this program is run as an organization.

I don’t give two shits IF any player leaves.

We will get more with NIL.

Our team does not know how to win.

It’s broken.

Keeping Kenyatta or whoever bc they are “close” to players is of no consequence.

Exactly. I want good players to stay, but what have they done? Not come in clutch when the game was on the line. Either get in line to win games and kick arse, or get out of the way.

Kind of an interesting spot we're in. Defensively, if Durkin stays, I think the turnover on that side of the ball wouldn't be more than usual.

But the offense has to go. Gotta imagine the coaches want to keep some kids but it's hard to argue for any of it based on results

Coaches and Players lost the fricking game Saturday.

Multiple presnap penalties.
A TD taken of the board for misalignment. In game 12?

Both turnovers were a lack of execution and lack of basic ball security and situational awareness. The ball hits you in the fricking hands and bounces up? Stay/leave, whatever, but ball security must improve. The ball is carried loose in a crowd by a guy more concerned about wearing fricking watches during practice than ball security? Tiki Barber overcame fumbling with “high and tight” style carrying of football. Leave? Stay? Get Out of bounds when time is limited! Or at least protect the football at all costs.

And we muffed a punt and had at least 2 more fumbles and 3-5 drops (87/15 both dropped ball).

If the backup offensive line can’t beat these guys out, hit the portal.

Worrying about Cam Coleman or any of the high NIL guys leaving is pointless. Wherever they go, they’ve got work to do as players and competitors. If they don’t want to be here, leave.

I bet some of them stay. You can’t run away from your troubles. They probably crave accountability.

Not going out on much of a limb here, but I think we’ll know one way or the other on DJD today.

Heard last night he was in and he’s getting a raise, but we’ll see. Allegedly he’s been contacted by a few other schools since yesterday afternoon.

If he’s at the presser, we have our answer. If he’s not, get Justin Wilcox on the phone.

Harding Harper is from Birmingham and played at Carver Montgomery High School.

He was director of college scouting under Lea at Vanderbilt last season.

Demarcus Van Dyke played at Miami and ran a 4.28 at the Combine.

5th fastest time ever at the combine!

Born in Miami, played at Miami, coached at Miami, FIU, and USF. Hopefully translates into a good recruiter of the South Florida area.

Seems like we used to be pretty good at recruiting Florida from the Tuberville days all the way through Gus. It feels like it has fallen off through the past 5 or 6 years and we only have a few Florida guys on the roster now.

I am with you in hoping this opens Florida back up for us in recruiting.

Yeah that’s the one thing that disappointed about the Freeze recruiting machine. Made almost no movement in Ga or Fl. However did pick up some nice additions in Mississippi which we generally don’t recruit that well. We will get a player there every once in a blue moon but not a natural recruiting hotbed for us. And it shouldn’t be in reality. They have maybe 1 5 star a year and about 8 4 stars. Then Ga and UF each have about 30-50 4 stars or above each cycle for each state where we should be recruiting heavily regardless of how hard it is

That’s what the tea leaves from Womack flipping indicate. Womack never had any interest in State until he flipped.

Womack is from Mississippi so he might just be staying in state.

Hopefully Durkin wouldnt go to state for a DC job either.

Think he would be telling recruits that early? I doubt he has signed any contract yet, right?

Telling recruits would be the quickest way to make sure everyone knows tbh.

Well Golesh said we would know about the DC hire in next 24 hours. Also Womack was a 5 star that had offers from Oh St and Texas, but he really liked Durkin and committed to us. Now he flips to Miss St? Throw in Lebby and Durkin were in Kiffins staff in 21. Also Miss St D is putrid.
