WaPo With Another Piece on Auburn

Washington Post decided to do yet another hit piece on AU. They rehash Jetgate, Chiz, Gus and Harsin's ouster. Crap we've heard a million times. The theme is that AU is dysfunctional and it's all because "Saban has made them crazy."
What caught my eye was they interviewed a key AU booster anonymously about Freeze. He said:
The Post quoted Cohen on whether he was coerced to hire Freeze (not sure if this was a Post interview or if they grabbed the quote from somewhere else). Cohen said:
The Post says they tried to contact Rane and Harbert, but Auburn would not allow an interview. They also tried to contact Tubs and Harsin, but neither responded.

Yeah I really doubt this was fully Cohen’s decision but what is he going to say, “yeah the guys with money forced me to pick this guy or they would stop bankrolling me”. Cohen is sharp businessman even if this hire proves to be an obtuse one.

Go take a look at the writers backgrounds. Where they went to school or wrote before they got where they are...that will tell you a lot.

I’ve never understood why we as a fan base ever cared what someone outside of the fan base thought of us.
Just like in 2004, I didn’t need the BCS championship to validate what I already knew that my Auburn Tigers were best team in the country. No team was beating them.
So I definitely don’t need validation from the fricking Washington Compost.
