He sounds like a great person to be around and with which to be influenced.

Well done, good and faithful servant.
You have been faithful over a little;
I will set you over much.
Enter into the joy of your master. – Matthew 25:21

Real men, doing real men shite. I know a few of these guys and was lucky to have them in my life at a early age.

Sorry for your loss Rocky. I am happy though that you have such great memories of him and that you were lucky enough to have someone like that in your life.

RIP to him

Sorry for your loss rocky, many prayers to you and your family. Thanks for sharing this, we all remember going to our first Auburn games with our dads and being awe struck. He sounds like a great man. WDE to your pops and for passing down the great Auburn traditions for generations to come!

So sorry for your loss, Rocky. But also excited for the times you had. In the next few months, write down some of his stories, some of his sayings, mannerism. It will be good to come back to.

First - sorry for the loss and RIP to your Dad

Second - Something in common, I have some time in the T-A4 while going through Flight Training in P-Cola but flew S-3s for some years from carriers.

Thank you, He flew A4’s

This is him and not sure where but he did a lot of flights off an aircraft carrier. Loved when he took me and my family on a tour of the museum in Pensacola a few years ago. My kids still talk about all the stories he shared.

Yep T-A4's were the two seat trainer aircraft that you flew before A-4s or some other aircraft in your training.

That museum is pretty cool. I did find my name once at the cubi bar that they have there.

Do you know if he was east or west coast?

Sorry for your loss. Your dad was at Auburn the same time my dad was. My dad was in engineering as well. Maybe they knew one another. My dad passed a few years back so we will never know. Sucks getting old, but it is better than the alternative.
