Getting guys on board for next years class is huge. I am however concerned how this class will end. Im not over the top about lewis and solomon. Carter signing with Texas will be kinda hard to stomach. If we get the commits and they don't sign it doesn't mean too much. Hopefully Hugh can sell these recruits and hold on to them.

I thought this before the season started. Giving up play calling to a coordinator provides time and a fall guy. Same thing Gus did until he just seemed to give up all together.

This is going way beyond being out talented. This whole program is a wash. Everything about this team is unprepared and soft.

Stopping the qb run and neighbors will be tough. I think Auburns starting linebackers are better than Mizzous and Asante has a nose for the ball. If Simpson is playing healthy it will boost the db's. Offense has to hit some big plays and run the ball to kill clock. Freeze will need to be creative. A low scoring game with LSU turnovers are Auburns only hope. 35-24 LSU. LSU's offense will win this one for them, especially playing in Baton Rouge.

I really hope that trend doesnt change. Is it that much to ask for a 19' style defense with atleast a 17' potential offense.

I think its hard to base Auburn footballs potential off their all time record. The record indicates an average program. The reality is actually really good runs followed by really bad seasons. Rinse and repeat. It takes the right administration and staff to have sustained success. Sustained success is hard to come by.

Nah, his mouth and antics at JSU are why I don't really care for him. Now they continue and have been. Its become a race problem because thats how people want it. I just don't like him for the same reason I don't like Kiffin. He's pompous.

I can't remeber his name but the white safety is awful. He looks like he has bricks on his feet. He got shook by stutter steps on two plays.

Thats the truth! I don't know what to expect but I do know IF this team can get it together, this was the perfect year for Freeze to start his tenure. If the Pirate, rest his soul, was still at state id say we had a better chance with Ole miss.
