The dude lives and breathes basketball. He works on his movement without the basketball as much as he does with one.

He is just damn good at this game.

I think they were probably hesitant to double because outside of Gainey their entire offense was shooting lights out for the most part. When Aidoo was drilling shots from the top of the key and Ziegler started nailing threes it was very difficult to double Knecht.

Yeah I mean they aren’t exactly Knecht and the pips

I really don't feel that I am very old (47)..but growing up an Auburn fan out of state (Louisiana) a majority of the basketball games were not televised in my area. The only way I would find out the score was either calling the local radio station asking them to check the AP Wire - or - waiting to read it the paper the next day.

**I am sure the SEC scores were read during the 10 PM local news, but I had to be in bed before then haha

No denying his ability but you can't let one player score 25 points in 10 min

Agreed. Can't let one guy beat you. He had taken over a couple games this season prior and we should have been ready once he showed his hot hand

Hey at least 2 or 3 times a year you were treated to what was either the JP or Lorimar "Game of the Week" with Joe Dean. Maybe you would see some "String Music" from Chris Morris, or a "Stuffarino" from Jeff Moore.

you are exactly right - with Tom Hammond doing the play by play!

bonus: Once a year my dad would take me to see Auburn play when they came to Baton Rouge - something I always looked forward to!

Looked like he couldn't miss. Announcers said he puts in a lot extra hours shooting.

He’s only the #1 recruit in the country. But our program under Bruce has peaked so I’m not sure I should care.

And just like that, the wins and losses don’t seem quite as important

My allergies are acting up, I need a box of Kleenex…
