I could forsee a situation where Pearl may have nudged a player or two out the door (Johnson and Franklin). Zep Jasper is a definite upgrade from Johnson roster-wise, and AU may have someone else on the hook too (Penn St?).

Pearl has said a few times there would be some roster movement. He also always has a review with each player telling him his expectations and what roll he foresees for the next season. We'll never know for sure but i suspect Franklin and Johnson didn't like what they heard and decided to go elsewhere for playing time

Hooks mentioned Auburn and Gonzaga as his 2 possible landing spots when the possibility first game up a month ago. I wouldn't be surprised if there are others who have made a string case since then. Drew at Baylor has made a living off of recruiting players off of other teams

WOW...wondered if Kessler would back off and stay since he got some serious playing time late in the season. Then I noticed he seemed to fall back into a sub with minimum minutes.
I still don't think he likes Auburn's offense. It doesn't highlight the center position, like some other offenses do at other schools. It's just a feeling I get with him.
If he can hit the 3, then he does have a chance to play for Pearl. :)

I suppose Florida would be a good fit for him. I still think he would enjoy playing for Bruce even more. Doesn’t he have family on Lake Martin or something?

He was 1-4 on the year from 3 and shot like 85-90 shots from 2. Not sure if that’s because he’s just not a good perimeter shooter or because that’s not what UNC wanted him to do.

He shot threes in HS. Regardless, I don't think he's a great fit at Auburn and I'd be surprised if he ended up with us.

I don't see him. If he has the option to go somewhere like Gonzaga that's a really good fit. I'm also a battered Auburn fan so that could play in to my thinking

Nimari Burnett now includes Auburn in top 5 after transferring from Texas Tech. Auburn must’ve made a good impression to earn the inclusion.

I believe he is favored to land at Alabama. That would be a nice steal
