I dont mind the streak coming to an end but what a flop.

Everybody vents in their own way...melting and crying about refs is 3/4's of the purpose of these forums.

I’ve been feeling like our bubble was ready to pop for a few weeks now. We have veterans that are really role players and true freshmen. No in between thanks to self-imposed punishment. Our goal should still be making the dance, but we do have roster issues.

The Vanderbilt game showed the first signs that we would have trouble with good, quick guards. Alabama just exposed that even more. I get that you will always have off nights offensively but I’m most concerned with our D and guys being able to drive to the basket.

The majority of folks expected us to lose to UGA, bama, or Florida. It's not like this is a huge surprise that we finally lost

I don’t feel you on this. Never have. We have issues. Little things like team FT shooting could go a long way but we really suck in that area too.
Doughty stays on my shite list with his lazy passes, wtf defense, subpar FT shooting, and extended shooting cold streak.
McCormick is only okay.
Wiley is useful but he’s not going to will us to anything. We need him to be hansborough, but he’s not.
Okoro is our best player and he’s not an incredible offensive threat unless it’s a defense to offense combo.
Flanigan, Cambridge, and the other TF looked like the moment was too big.

Every team in this league and really the whole country has major issues. Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, and Arky are the best 4 teams imo but all will struggle to win road games in league play.

In the first half I read we had 12 turnovers but Bama only had two steals. That’s pretty self-inflicted sloppy.
Obviously we can turn it around, but our guards are going to have to say something about that.

I don’t understand why Bruce didn’t stop running the press after a make and just have us set up in a half court offense. Those guards were too fast for us. Heck even after a miss I would have everybody to get back but Wiley.

We definitely can’t take J’von and Samir both having horrible nights in conjunction with one another. They are our only creators on offense and last night they only created trash

J'von is the one who makes the team go. If we have to count on Doughty running the show, we are in big trouble. He just isn't a point guard.
We aren't a good 3 point shooting team. Our guys are drivers/slashers. We struggled making chippies. We turned it over. Our FT shooting was horrible. I thought it had improved the last few weeks. It hasn't.

It was the first time we really looked rattled all year. Hopefully we learn from it and can settle in. We missed soooo many easy shots early that could have changed the course of the game.

We sucked in all facets of the game last night.

Bama wasn’t great either but we were abysmal. I hope we learn from this.
