A lot of our plays seem to lack "release valves".

Our offensive scheme lacks release valves. Defenses run deep safety’s and pack the box otherwise. Gameplan is trash

Dude, we got 99 problems and Stidham ain't one. Best QB we've had in a while. We have no running game and no O-line.

A better OC is the answer not a WR coach

As long as the HC is the HC, I can't imagine how you would think any change in OC would change a fricking thing.

I never said he wasn't good, but he ain't great. Which is sort of the key to us having a chance to have a special season. I agree he is better than average for Auburn.

We had a 100 yard rushers in the game. But when your qb has two picks and zero tds it is hard to win.

We don’t know enough about the offense to say if the second was his fault.

The way he was talking to the receiver, looked like some kind of miscommunication. Either way he put it where he wanted.

The second was definitely his fault if you know anything about when you are supposed to throw back shoulder.

The first one was absolutely atrocious.Stidham is a solid SEC QB but isn’t in the same galaxy as Nick or Cam to run this O.

but Stidham is the best QB we have had since Cam.
. Lmao. If you’re a pro scout, maybe. But Nick made this offense twice as effective.

Heck our O was even more prolific under a healthy Sean White. At least Stidham isn’t made out of glass, though.

Sadly, we would have probably won that game with a healthy Sean White. The kid had brass balls and played with them out the whole time. Stidham sometimes plays like his mom will yell at him if he gets his uniform dirty. He never steps into the pocket, and starts panicking as soon as the tackles and DEnds go behind him.

I don't believe you. Dropped passes. Terrible holds on our WRs. I can't think of one pass he missed. He isn't Cam or NM, but we could win with him if our OL can open holes for our RBs and our talented WRs start producing.

It isn't just about the passes he misses, it's the passes he doesn't see or make because he panics if his first look isn't there. He had Sal Canella WIDE OPEN right in the middle of the field on our last 3rd down to keep that drive going and salt the game away but he had already tucked it and started to panic in the pocket under minimal pressure.

The UGA-Bama anomaly aside it's like he never recovered from that Clemson game last year.

He is extremely accurate...so much so that I don't think he has enough of a gun slingers mentality. Sometimes you just have to fire it in there and let the chips fall where they may. Both INT's yesterday were terrible passes. Both cost us points and the 2nd killed the momentum we had gained since the late 2nd quarter.

The long throws are an example of his mentality. He throws them where only our guy has a shot...if you are trying out for the NFL that is great. If you are trying to win a dog fight in the SEC West where you need to put some pressure on the refs not so great.

Spot on. Stidham handling pressure is exactly what had Tebow worried when he was breaking down the game on SEC Nation.
