My question. What does Gus need to do for you to watch again? I think he has fully lost support, so this is more about what gettin eyeballs back.

fwiw Gus and Chip have been saying this for weeks now that there are "packages" for Malik Willis.

We all know what that means. He'll come in for 1 or 2 plays and run the read option

My hot take for the day - You're a shitty fan if you stop watching and attending Auburn games now but were fully engaged before.

It would be the most Gus thing ever to start playing Willis at QB and by some miracle make it out of this season alive.

If true, it took Gus 6 games instead of his normal 4.

With as terrible as the line has been, he should've been incorporating MW much earlier. Speedster will force the d-lineman to chase and tire them out.

Was everyone not saying MW should never see the field at Auburn again?

Very broad spectrum regarding AU fans and MW. Everything from #teammalik to #transfermalik

Also, Cord Sandburg has several nominations.

Yeah. I mean, JS is not a QB. He is no better than Jeremy Johnson. It would be so Gus to put MW in and run the table, then lose the Outback bowl.

It also means it'll happen when Stidham is like 4/4 on a drive

I think Stidham is injured and I think he and the coaches have known he’s not right for a while.

His deep balls have no touch, many are just pure max effort throws that i think are overcompensation. His left roll outs may be because he doesn’t want to land on his throwing shoulder if he’s hit. His demeanor around the pocket in general looks like a guy that’s really trying to protect himself from bad hits. I think he’s holding the ball when he only has tight windows to throw into because he knows he doesn’t have the zip to sneak the ball in there.

Just a theory. No made up sources and I don’t have a medical degree

In Gus translation that basically means "Wilis will come in to set up a mangeable 2nd or 3rd and short. but during 2nd/3rd and short Martin will be brought in for the wildcat to ensure we are taken out of field goal range

It's possible. There were rumors a couple weeks before the season started that he had hurt is shoulder iirc.

To me hes just playing like a guy whos ready to get paid in the NFL if his draft stock is currently taking a hit now just wait till he gets injured again. it'll take a huge hit. his attitude is simple "I'll just make a few plays to ensure these guys win a few games this year. and then i'm off to the NFL."

Maybe. I think Gus has had some "WTF" calls from his boss. We have a horizontal management structure with our football program, and Gus is hearing it.

ETA:

And if I see a ZR with JS and Kam again, I may punch a baby.

It's besides the point, but if we run the table, we ain't going to the Outback bowl.

Rumors about his back too that he had to address with the media.
