there is a sports show that airs on 105.1 WRFS The Lake called the Auburn Blitz they were tearing into Gus early this week one of them said if he were Allen Greene he'd be calling into Gus's office and telling him "to get this mess fixed or don't expect a Christmas bonus this year."

Why? It’s 70 degrees and a perfect day tomorrow. Why would I want to be miserable for 3 hours when I could be enjoying my Saturday. Gus can frick off and then I’ll spend my time and hard earned money watching.

I’m at a convention Saturday.

Will check score on phone, but anything could happen.

The lack of crispness early in the season when teams are at full strength is what worries me. Gus just does not use spring and fall practice to get much figured out.

This fricking screams of desperation and terrifies me.

What he means to say is - Willis will be put in for our wildcat packages where he will run the ball 100% of the time.

My hot take for the day - You're a shitty fan if you stop watching and attending Auburn games now but were fully engaged before.

Meh, I don't know about all that. I've been following Auburn for a long, long time and I cant blame someone for finding something more compelling to do than to watch shitty football on a Saturday. I'm not going to the Tennessee game this weekend because I've got things that are more interesting to me and frankly I don't want to spend the money to drive and watch two crippled midgets wrestle. I love Auburn and always will but it doesn't mean I'm going to spend money to attend a shitty game when I can park in front of my 55" flat screen with a cold beer and hot wings, and still have the rest of the day to do other stuff.

We all know what that means. He'll come in for 1 or 2 plays and run the read option

I wonder if opposing teams have figured that out yet?

frick it, start all the young guys on offense and play for experience for next year. Gimme a line of Tega, Troxell, Brahms, Ashley, Driscoll and never let me see Kam Martin run the ball again.

Hell, at this point I'm all for it. Anything other than what they've been doing.

Now, do I think it is the answer? Hell no. In fact I think will be decidedly worse. Go back to last year and what little he has played this year and it becomes obvious that he is not that good at reading the one play he should be good at. Most of the time he pulls it regardless of if the DE stays home or not. It looks to me (just an opinion, not saying I know because I obviously don't know play calls) that he only gives when it is a called give to the RB. Other than that, he pulls it and tries to outrun guys to the edge. He is athletic enough to do it against lesser teams and get away with it.

People want him to be Nick Marshall, but I just don't see it. NM was a magician on the read, and was so athletically gifted he could make a play every now and then when he did read it wrong. *hot take incoming* MW is not NM.

It would be. And I can't wait for the shite show next year when we have Sandburg, MW, Nix, and Gatewood battling it out.

Yep. I've said several times lately that the QB competition next year is going to make people miss Stidham. Even with his shitty play this year. There is a SEVERE drop in talent after him.

Isn't this mostly going to be the case if we don't make a bowl game?
