Just taking the USF staff and team isn't going to win us games

The FSU TE is more of an HB blocking type and Echols is more of a traditional TE. We need more than one transfer TE.
The FSU TE also had 3 rushing TD’s as a Wildcat QB last year.

It’s a good thing he isn’t doing that then

They haven't committed elsewhere...... but my understanding of the portal is that ya don't let dudes leave without committing. There are USF guys who can start here but yeah.....We gotta get some power 5 guys also.

That’s good news on Turner.

Guessing the FSU TE is off the board if hes heading to his other visits
I’m just looking to continue to grow and just make sure I’m making the right decision for me,” Pittman said. “I’m just going through that process the next few days and being able to have a clear mind when I’m making the decision.”
Pittman was complimentary when talking about new head coach Alex Golesh and tight ends coach Larry Scott. When asked what stood out to him about Auburn, Pittman said, “mostly the people.”
“I think the love felt genuine,” he added.

I really don't think he will be the only one. Knee jerk reactions to losing all the coaches you've been sold on and working with would get you in a panic and then all your friends say they are leaving too? I don't blame a lot of these guys for saying they wanted to look around before committing themselves to the new coaches.
In the end, these guys have to do what is best for them. Some of the guys were probably told to look around and some of the others probably panicked when their buddy was told to.

Happy to have Sam Turner back.. Rooting for my last name is still on the menu.
I wish we we're in on the Michigan OL Jake Guarnera, was all conference for them, but doesn't seem like we are on the radar.
Edit-- Just noticed but Mich had an all conference RT enter the portal too.

RB Brandon High from Cal is supposed to be visiting today. He was Cal's starter in the opener but then had injury issues. He was pretty good for UTSA in 2024.

It looks like the Defense, especially the D-line is gonna be good. Can any of these DTs play both ways?
