Nah. Keep DK if you can, but I am skeptical it would happen anyway.

If he DOES try to come back, it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. I hope Golesh says, “nah, dawg, we’re good. I brought my entire QB room from USF. They already know how to run my offense. Best of luck to you.”

I really don’t know why people think this way.

Honestly shocked Cain is sticking around, but that’s great news. I think he may be tailor made for this offense

Golesh gave him the chance to sit and learn, and be ready to destroy teams in ‘27. He felt he was too good for that, not to mention he’s a little Diva with his social media stuff. Fans melting when he took all his Auburn stuff down.

I bet he’s not getting the love his agent promised he would be getting.

Gaston “Gas Pipe” Moore was USF’s backup QB. He played in the bowl game and got concussed. He followed Golesh from UT to USF

I’d say it’s a long shot at best, but not impossible.

How reliable is this guy? That would be pretty wild turn of events lol

Rival/On3 poster. Hoke posted earlier that there was a path back for Knight

His whole record going back to HS has been a shite-show. People seem to forget that this kid switched through like 3 different high schools, then committed to ND, then flipped to Auburn, then arrived to Auburn and has been "teasing" his departure the whole time he has been here. He was doing the Instagram stuff long before Freeze was even fired, which makes zero sense (ie: its not just that the coach that recruited him is gone and now he rightfully wants a fresh start).

Regardless of how much anyone might like his potential, this is NOT a good look. The QB's who show this level of theatrics off the field before they have even proven themselves as players almost never pan out.

Hahahahahaha- I mean, that’s what I’d tell him if I were AG.

Being a Director who has hiring responsibilities, bringing someone back who left voluntarily for “greener pastures” never works out.

Spot on. It’s a bad look for any position, but for your QB? The leader of your team? Absolutely cannot happen.

They left for a reason. Bringing them back does not work

I do find it a little odd that I haven't heard about him taking any official visits anywhere or any other school making a big push for him. Has anyone heard about him being linked to a specific school or making a visit somewhere?

There was a thread about babi bari a few weeks ago, @on3. The posters there basically accused him of stealing/reposting Auburn sports insider info for clout.

He supposedly reposted a pic from the board of Golesh/Burns out to eat with Cam's family. There was like 8 pages of whining about it.

The only school I have seen mention Deuce is Ole Miss and that is just their delusional fans thinking he’s a lock for them.

I think Pete would want a proven starter for his first year as a HC and don’t see Deuce going to OM to ride a bench with a guy in his first head coaching stint.

People are gonna have to learn to be way more logical and way less emotional when it comes to these players.
