Yes, the players are right. Fans need to support the team and stop being such little bitches. Its pathetic. If the way a team is playing makes your life that miserable, you probably need to do something else. I was shocked when the students section cleared out after half. There was not 10% of them left midday through the 3rd
That's exactly what they did

It doesn’t mean jack shite to me. Y’all were talking about the culture. I was just chiming in.

Apparently no one but Lanier is reading today.
That is not what I was talking about.

We didn't play a bad game against Ole Miss.. The defense played pretty good without multiple starters, the offense moved the ball and Bo Nix had over 300 yards passing, DJ Williams almost had 100 yards... We didn't score enough though and its fine to criticize that, but the boo's and the walking out because we are playing a close SEC game is the definition of fans feeling entitled.
All true. Its like if they dont totally blow out someone they are better than, then fans melt.
This board is a perfect example lately of what you are talking about. "I didnt get what I want so everyone sucks". Sounds incredibly familiar to me.

I was talking about a post by someone that said Gus changed the culture to just wanting good enough.
I obviously don’t think the culture is our primary problem. It is merely a product of continued disappointment. For example our dead basketball program wasn’t the problem with Barbee; Barbee was the primary problem.

The point of that paragraph is that Tebow literally cried and apologized to fans for losing one game. That's a culture of excellence.
We win a slop fest vs. a shitty Ole Miss team and one of our starters call fans "ungrateful" after a disappointing 7-2 start. That's a culture of "good enough".

I can read. I know that’s your point.
You basically repeated word for word what you wrote the first time.

There's definitely a "good enough" culture at Auburn, but it's not directly because of Gus. He has just benefitted heavily from it

It wasn’t that empty at half but still it was fricking pathetic. I called out the pussies on social media last night. Most were blaming the weather. I wore my drake pullover knowing if it was 58 at 5 it was going to be cold at game time. It wasn’t that bad to me.

If I'd know this was an issue during the game I'd of pulled my TV off the wall and hung it on a tree outside and watched it in my lounging shorts and Auburn T-shirt. I hate missing chances to love Auburn.

I’d prolly have left. I love Auburn but not enough to sit in the cold through a poor product with my kids

I wore jeans and brought two jackets because, Well, I am a pussy and I can look up the weather report on my phone.
