Cam Coleman would be 3rd highest rated all time if he signs at AU. His composite rating is .9962. For comparison, Derrick Brown was .9964. Cowart was .9987

I would this make Cowart was one of the biggest bust of all times.

I mean, it could be argued based on his rating but he did make it to the NFL but he barely plays and when he does, he barely does anything positive.

He was either a "bust" afterwards or his evaluation/ rating was just way off

4-star CB Jalewis Solomon, Ellaville, Ga. (Schley County) - SC commit
no longer expected to visit per JLee

I wonder if this was his decision or he was told there was no longer a spot for him in the roster?

JLee wrote that he talked to Auburn yesterday and told them he's no longer visiting and feels good about his commitment to SCAR. JLee said that Auburn will continue recruiting him, but the confidence isn't as high as it was a week or two ago

Wait, didn’t be just recently de-commit from them like two weeks ago?

No, he's still committed according to his on3 profile, there was talk a few weeks ago that he might decommit and potentially flip back to Auburn, but as I said above JLee doesn't expect that to happen anymore and confidence has dwindled.

Maybe they are focusing back on Antonio White.

But someone tell me about Cal Bates, I have never seen him talked about, just saw him on the list. Composite 100, 9th ranked Corner, coming up from Edgewater (Tampa), thats no short trip and he is heavily favored to FSU and skipping that game for ours....hmmmm.

Just started playing corner middle of last year six foot 1, 180 lbs....we really need another corner in this class.

Anyone know anything about this kid??? I understand local kids, who may have no interest in us, wanting to attend the game, but coming up from Tampa, on FSU/FL weekend and you are favored to them?

People had this idea wide disparaging idea that Gus ran Kerryon Johnson into the ground.

Kerryon played three seasons and had 519 total carries.
Judkins hasnt even finished his second season and already has 511 carries.

No Kiffin tounge lash

Cowart just couldn't handle garner man. Some guys have a switch they can turn on that allows them to take tough coaching, but his was broken.

He got better in the second half. His first half was real bad.

To be fair, Kiffin isn’t our coach, usually don’t bitch about other coach’s use of players. They have ran Judkins an an insane amount though. My biggest complaint around Gus’s use of running backs was always in garbage games. Our main backs would have like 30+ carries against crap teams for no reason.

No we dont but the stupid narrative about running kerryon into the ground was dumb. Kiffin and Gus both coaches to win.

I'm old enough to remember when Tubs ran Kenny Irons into the ground. I think he had almost 40 carries in one game.

Just looked it up. After AU had 2 RBs go down with injuries, Irons averaged 30 carries per game.

quote:

“I was like, 'Man, I need some help,’" said Irons, who finished with a league-high 1,293 yards thanks to his late-season surge. “But I kind of realized that we really didn’t have another running back that could step in and help out.
