Trinidad, at UGA even though that was a priority for Kirby it took he hired Matt Luke for them to get these big OL cruits. Id assume our changes really start next yr.

Watching Foley again and somebody needs to sign Colton Nero, dude is a beast at RB.

Yep. 25 is the make or break class for achieving what we all want. This class is important and we need to make waves, but 25 is the true class to judge on if we have in place what we need to get back to the program we want to be.

I’m watching Bryce against mgm. Caught a long one for a td. Bakers qb has had a rough night. He definitely has game breaking speed

Next year always seems to be the year we judge on
Well at least until we’re willing to get rid of the coach.
Need to be solid top 10 this year. Pushing top 5 next year

You aren’t wrong, but 2025 was the year for freeze when he was hired. This class was always a wildcard. It should be good but had its variables. 2025 should be a great class. If it is not, people can complain all they want. The same discussion was made for Harsin. The discussion isn’t wrong. NIL can expedite some things but ultimately there is a ramp up period. It was easy to tell with Harsin he wasn’t going to achieve anything recruiting. Right now, Freeze is showing the promise we need. If our 2025 class doesn’t improve on this one, complain all you want.
So far though, this class can be considered a success.

Perry Thompson doesn’t have a QB to throw to him, they abandoned the QB in the second half and ran wildcat the rest of the game, Kolton Nero as the wildcat QB and Perry as the RB. The Foley team isn’t that good, they have 2 good players in Thompson and Nero and they both are seniors, gonna be tough sledding next year with those two gone.

Foley hasn’t been good in years. However I do like WRs especially slot WRs that have played RB in high school as well as playing WR. Their vision improves and learning how to make people miss.

My son plays for MGM and when we played foley I could tell Perry was frustrated. He caught maybe 2 passes, the qb just couldn’t get it to him. To be fair we have a pretty solid defense tho,we haven’t let anyone have a big game this year. We got 4 picks off the Ms St qb commit Josh flowers from baker last night.I wish we had a receiver that was a big threat playing for us. Our qb Jarred Hollins is committed to South Alabama and is playing in Al/Ms all star game, but if had a playmaker at wr like Perry or Bryce I think he’d be getting a lot more attention on the recruiting front the kid is absolute stud.

After all the effort courting all those highly ranked safeties and this is what we walk away with?
Those in the know, can Antonio White play corner, I know he is having a monster season, that would seem a much better option, or if a pure safety Laquan the JC kid.

I don’t think we can pull White anymore, fwiw.

What’s wrong with Kaleb Harris? He’s having a solid year. Had a great 7v7 camp at AU. Has the size you want at safety. He’s as close to a 4 star as you can get without being a 4 star.

Rutgers is paying him a ton in NIL. I don’t think he’s worth what they’re paying him.
I think we’ll take Kaleb Harris in his place.

I dont understand why this class is not as important as next year. A new coach typically has a great class his first recruiting year. Thats this year. Hugh should be no different. He needs this class to be huge. The last few years have been shite
Auburn needs it now. Not next year

I don’t think it’s a matter of what’s more important. They’ve done a great job of starting to build relationships that were absolutely destroyed. They had no ground work laid by the last staff.
Getting two 5* from this class is honestly incredible work.

I like Harris too. Plus I don’t think he’s a true S.

Was wondering the same thing.
Just seems '25 would only be more important if we whiff'ed on this year. Sure the holes would be better filled but hopefully they'd not be as deep as in this cycle.
