How much of us not being in the running for some top prospects the last 3 or 4 years is a result of a complete lack of support or effort from the HC? How many kids were brought into Blowjob Harsin's office only to be completely blown off? Not much Caddy, or anyone else, can do to overcome that. I understand and to some degree agree with you, every coach has to be held accountable. Coaching is very much a what have you done for me lately job

Using composite team rankings we have already out recruited the Harsin 2021 & 2022 classes in terms of total points and are 1 commit away from passing the 2023 class as well, with 6 less commits, in total points We are wanting to take 11-15 more high schoolers if we can find & land talent we feel is SEC caliber. In short, barring something crazy happening this class will obliterate the 2021, 22, & 23 classes in total recruiting points

2020 – Held on to Tank Bigsby
He came in late in the cycle as a coach so not going to judge him on that class nor give him credit other then not losing Tank
2021 – He is credited with Jarquez Hunter but in reality Jarquez was scouted an picked up by Will Friend
Misses – Armoni Goodwin was a virtual lock to AU. Big miss. Rod Orr from Gadsden City.
2022 – Landed Alston.
Misses – Emmanuel Henderson. Tre’Quon Fegans. Quinshon Judkins
2023 – Landed Jeremiah Cobb
Misses no clue. McElderry (Roq Montgomery now). Cant find any other instate kids he even recruited.
The complete lack of offers and few players he’s on obviously isn’t Cadillac’s strong point. If he’s just a running backs coach and culture guy fine with me. Just think he could be a great recruiter if he applied himself. Especially in state.

Not trying to get in this argument, but its hard to call Judkins a miss for Caddy when he had him until ol' dumbass told him that he wasn't good enough.

That’s when you say I want who I want in my room. If you don’t agree then I’m probably not the coach for you. So for me still a miss. But to that point kind of like Alston we should be expected to be landing low teen ranked running backs at AU regardless of who the coaches are instead of the 47th ranked player at the position. Alston 47th, Cobb 13, Phat 15 and I expect him to drop in ranking at running back over the course of his senior year. Probably to around 20th.

The entire Staff wanted Judkins except Harsin. He was Caddy's top back.

There's nothing that anyone can tell me to convince that Harsin wasn't a Saban sleeper agent, or just intentionally sabotaging Auburn out of spite. It's remarkable how bad he did, yet ESPN would interview him like he's some damn victim.

Each head coach is his own person, but the HC typically is going to have to sign off on a kid first. Ask Kirby or Saban. And to suggest Caddy should have put his career on the line for one recruit when it was clear Haskins was a dead duck is ridiculous.

Look I have no dog in this fight.
But saying because Cadillac didn’t threaten to quit over not offering Judkins so he’s a miss is a wild take.
