That's what he said.
He had already had two bad snaps from center on punts already, and he didn't feel comfortable at end.
So he said he thought they were better off taking time off clock by safety, and then force them to drive field.
Well the problem was the kicker missed I think a 30 yd FG. Should have gone into OT.
It almost backfired.

Texas may be firing T Hermann and if Urban Meyer turns them down, two names surfacing are Franklin and Cristobal.

I read months ago that Oregon fans were fearful of both Auburn and Texas poaching Cristobal. I think Cristobal would choose Auburn based on familiar proximity.

Matt Campbell could open up his offense more. Using TEs would be no problem with him as he has great TE personnel and involvement..

Is there anything the fan base can do to light a fire under the arse of the administration to rip the band aid off and move forward from this disaster of a coach and the albatross of a contract THEY gave him???

No surprise here. There is a reason that you see Cristobals name as a possible replacement for Saban or a potential hire at Texas.
Cristobal or Matt Campbell are top tier. Would take either one over Malzahn.
