More consistent than us lol Gus hasn't had back to back 9 win seasons much less 10.

How many back to back 10 win seasons has Auburn had before Gus?

Pat Dye was the latest to have back to back 10 win seasons in the mid 80's.

Tuberville almost did it in the 90's when he had 1 10+ win season surrounded by two 9 win seasons.

Before Dye it was hard to win 10 win season unless we went undefeated, since we played less games back before the late 70s.

GA certainly took it on the chin. We shall see if Kirby is as good a coach as he is a recruiter --- I know he is not going NFL --- but I am still surprised at how badly it went with Fields as well.

On our end, getting Tega back would be awesome.

I never said we did, I just said UGA was more consistent lol

Also this quote is the epitome of our fans. “Auburn is historically an 8-5 team so that’s all we should expect of Gus”

Derrick Brown is returning. But Gus can’t convince juniors from entering the draft

No, what you said was this:
quote:

I just think it’s stupid to use Georgia losing players as a defense for Gus. You can’t compare a program consistently is the playoff hunt to one that consistently underperforms.
UGa has "been in the playoff hunt" twice, maybe three times since the beginning of the BCS 20 years ago. Hardly a model of consistency.

I was one of those saying this a few weeks ago. Very happy to eat crow.

Between this and Kirby struggling to keep his talent from leaving, it makes the off-season a little more palatable.

We might lose Tega to the draft any minute now I’m just hoping that this past few days gives Auburn fans a reality check. These kids are unpredictable and I don’t think programs have as much influence in keeping them around when their childhood dream is within reach

Matt Miller has Stidham as the #5 QB and Slayton as the #12 WR in his latest player rankings. Jamel Dean not ranked among 15 CB's.

Having Dinson and Davis coming back is really great. We will have a lot of experience DBs returning, along w/ our Front Line D.

Great start for a D in 2019

This is great to hear. Now this means Monday, Peters and Sherwood can keep getting consistent playing time without having to just be thrown out there
