Everyone always points to the star rating or stats acquired while at Auburn…

Do you guys not see the big picture?

How many scholarships did we have open at the beginning of the year? How many kids did we have transfer out? How many are open now and why are kids continuing to transfer out? Why did we miss on a ton of targets in the transfer portal?

People don’t want to play for Bryan Harsin and it shows. Our roster is depleted in both numbers and talent. This is the worst I’ve ever seen Auburn and I watched them in 2008 and 2012.

Redshirts unless medically out for the season generally aren't announced until after the season. I think only one true freshman has played in 5 games and off the top of my head right this second I can't think who it is. It'll come to me though lol

You we're correct with MR-D, but also add Damari Altson and his 1 play a game to the list, Jay Fair, Omari Kelly, Cam Brown and maybe a couple others I can't remember.

What King is doing is the opposite of quitting. This season is over and so is this coach. He is trying to preserve a year of eligibility so that he can come back to Auburn and help us rebuild. He didn't want to leave or enter the portal. He is the one actually doing whats best for Auburn.

Lastly.. can anyone tell me what the point of a redshirt is? I thought those we're for players coaches didn't intend on playing.. because that's exactly what Harsin has done to King, not play him. So some people are mad at Landon King for... using a redshirt properly?

So what about all the underprivileged African American kids that couldn’t catch a football like Landon King? They did not get to go to college for free, have meals, housing, clothing and tutors provided.

With the portal being wide open, players getting NIL money, college sports are no longer amateur sports. Players wanted a piece of the pie, now they have it, but with that comes situations like this. Players want to be treated like professionals, this is what happens in a profession. Back to the analogy of quitting on your job. Harsin has done a poor job coaching, but I give him credit as a man, He and his family were put through some ridiculous BS last year. He could have quit, settled for millions, brought a suit against the University? He didn’t do that, he came back to a job knowing he was a dead man walking but was going to see it through. If he was a sorry SOB he would have taken the other roads available and at least preserved his coaching reputation.

I swear this guy has to be Harsin himself or someone related to the family/staff... no sensible person could have these takes. Member since Feb 2022...

Harsin has $15mm reasons not to take the other roads available.

Running kids off from the program may help build the case for him being fired for cause though. I hope he would quit and threaten to sue the school... easy firing for cause or settle for much less than $15mm.

From Rivals….

This is the class that was put together under Gus Malzahn, signed in the early period with interim coach Kevin Steele and the late period with Bryan Harsin. Auburn signed a total of 18 players in the class of which only eight remain...

GONE
DB Juwon Gaston
DB AD Diamond
DL Ian Mathews
WR Hal Presley
DB Ahmari Harvey
DB Kamal Hadden
TE Landen King
QB Dee Davis
WR Tar'Varish Dawson
DL Lee Hunter

STILL HERE
DE Dylan Brooks
RB Jarquez Hunter
DB Cayden Bridges
LB Joko Willis
OL Colby Smith
DL Tobechi Okoli
DL Marquis Robison
OL Garner Langlo

** Of the remaining group, only Hunter and Bridges are making a significant contribution this fall. It's not all on Harsin, but classes like this are program killers.

His inflexible approach to every facet of his job is his, and really our, downfall.

I saw this kid playing on another team this year.

Did he transfer after spring practice?

Where did he go?
TCU? SMU?

Hal Presely is at Baylor and he is in the playing rotation there.

He was only here for a minute before getting homesick and transferring. He had a HS girlfriend I believe and he left.

What does he have to thank Harsin for? Gus at his worse wasn't this bad. I don't want Gus back but Harsin turn the team to crap in a year in a half and hasn't improved anything about the team.

He’s home and playing.

I’m not sure this NIL will make it where kids don’t get homesick.

Strangely, our gymnast probably makes more NIL than all combined sports.

It’s extremely weird. I wonder if this reflects their perception of Harsin’s remaining time is soon to expire.

Yeah Landon has seemed like he still wants to be at AU. He’s one I wouldn’t be shocked if they stay at Auburn after Harsin is fired.

Maybe. Kid posted a farewell tweet that said he's doing what's best for him and he's out

Then he's seemingly approached by people with a check then suddenly different

No matter what side you are on, this can't be good for locker room or communication with coaches
