At this point, if we’re going to go conservative and run the ball, I would just prefer to have Deuce learn on the job. You might give us a spark, and if you don’t do that, the team is going to lose any shred of hope they might still have.

And, playing Deuce could help hold the team, and recruits, together

The dude being at every post game presser is straight up weird.

Yea I mean we are scoring 10pts a game, anybody can do that with our backs and WRs. I thought Freeze would at least score points but year 3 and 10mil$ and he can only score 3. Plus if the SEC is going to make it impossible to win with him there, I don’t get it. He’s got to go. It doesn’t hurt like the old days to get rid of your coach. You’re buying players. A good coach can be good in year 1 compared to how shitty we are now.

Looks like Daniels is QB 2 if Arnold keeps failing.

I'm still pissed he isn't throwing to Cam Coleman more often to let him be a playmaker, we oughta be seeing incredible highlights of his catches yet we aren't. We're seeing the same old same old, I believe we actually had Coleman catching a pass in the middle of the backfield during the first half of the game last week, but I feel like that was the extent of it. I'm tired of the risk averseness of JA, throw it to your NFL WR.

He doesn’t have the look of a winner. He’s just not confident enough. He has that dopey look on his face when answering press conference or interview questions. Zero command. He doesn’t answer questions like he understands what’s going on in the game. He just answers them in sports clichés

I think both JA and Thorne would have been better QB with proper coaching and a proper offense. Not saying superstars, but better, and that can be the difference in 2-4 wins maybe.
I think the biggest example for this would be to look back at one Chris Todd.
His game took a big leap from 2008 to 2009 when Gus came in. He did play in 6 more games in 2009 but his Comp% went from 55% to 60%, TD went from 5 to 22, INTs remained same with 6 more games, Yards passing almost tripled, Yards/game increased from 129 to 201, TD% more than doubled.
(I will note that Chris Todd was always a noodle arm, but he was a little more noodle armed in 2008 due to an injury if my memory is right, so there is that)
Just beating the Freeze horse some more. Carry on.

just watched the East Carolina QB make consecutive throws that JA has not and maybe can not make. 3rd and short. Quick throw slant to WR. Perfect pace and location. Easy 5 yds.
Next throw. Deep down the middle. perfect. hit the WR in stride. 6 pts.
It can't be that hard.

Would it allow the OL perform adequately? We’re currently dead last in the SEC.
Would it allow us to have a committed rushing attack in the 2nd half of games? We’re currently last in the SEC in this category.
Would it allow us to have some special teams consistency? … to kick FGs beyond 25 yards? We’re ranked second-to-last in kicking, … last in punting.
Respectfully, swapping out a qb does little to address our systemic deficiencies …. it just makes it appear that something is being done, even though it doesn’t address the real problems.

Can we get out of the bottom?
I thought this offensive line was going to be a strength of this team. We are getting ready for game 7 and we can’t lineup properly and are a sieve.
How bad are the backup offensive linemen? I thought this group was deep.
Run game is down to Cobb, a couple of freshmen, and a walk-on.
Hugh Freeze RPO:
Run for you life
Penalties
Overthrows
Just call a run or a pass.
Everyone is set for the QB run now so I don’t think that is the answer.

Why don’t Daniels get a shot, I know he is not Cam Newton returned but his highlights make him look like a competent QB.
With a that we win the last three weeks.

Your issue is that your are looking at this like it's a player issue when it's a coaching problem. Our offensive line is a mess because our coaching is a mess.
When you have massive amounts of penalties every year game after game, that's a coaching issue. Our o-line has looked like garbage since Hugh has been here, that's a coaching issue.

Yep. There isn’t a single phase of the game where we’ve shown real improvement. You could even argue that the offense and special teams have actually regressed.
And when you break it down position by position, we’re underperforming relative to our talent level — with the only exceptions being RB and TE. It’s baffling how we’ve allowed those rooms to develop into what they are now.
