Well dirkin finally learned what pressure on 3rd down is. Im so very proud of him.

Maybe hugh can learn it doesnt matter if JA reads the rpo better if he can't execute the P.

I love how on the OP’s picture Chaplin has been pushed back 7 yards and is about to step on Arnold.

No, this is not a Jackson Arnold excuse. He is not good, but if you can't tell by now that we are w

And my post wasn’t a Freeze excuse. He’s to blame for bringing in these bad QBs. But average QB play wins 9 games last season, and we’re 5-0 this season as well. It’s called the most important position on the field for a reason. Even the great Kiffin isn’t winning shite with Thorne or Arnold.

Hell of a post. Excellently balancing anger and frustration with level headed truth bombs. I regret that i have but one upvote to give

We're not doing the QB bullshite again. Not happening.

This offense has looked equally incompetent with all of following QB's starting:

Peyton Thorne, Robbie Ashford, Hank Brown, Jackson Arnold.

The two highly rated, highly recruited true freshman (Walker White, Deuce Knight) have both also looked absurdly bad in limited action against dogshit competition. For most teams, when their Top 100 true freshman QB comes into a blowout against Middle Idaho State in mop-up duty they at least look good, as you would expect. Yes guys, Deuce Knight looked terrible. So did Walker White last season.

The OL has looked bad regardless of who has been on it (top recruits coming in, top transfer portal players coming in), the TE's have been average or worse regardless of who has been there, and all of the "playcallers" have failed to date.

This is a head coaching issue, period.

Most of our offensive portal additions have not been good. KLS and Singleton are good. We missed on Throne and Arnold. Missed on Percy and Chaplin. Missed on Murphy. I don't remember if Wade was under Freeze, but that's a miss. Brought in a transfer RB and he was 4th string before getting hurt, so that's another miss. That's just piss poor portal evals.

You just listed a whole lot of shite QBs
Also, why does everyone give Kent Austin a pass? He’s the QB coach.

Walker White isn’t even 2nd string at Baylor.

Yup. Except Thorton isn’t attracting any top Olinemen either. Oline recruiting continues to be a problem.

Again, what top TEs have we gotten?

I’m over Freeze. He brought in Arnold after making us suffer 2 years of Thorne. Inexcusable

Sure, and Cam Coleman has just 237 yards receiving after 5 whole games. Eric Singleton has just 209 yards receiving.

You will find that players typically underperform when they play in really bad offenses.

Why is it that every player we bring in underperforms? Its the same thing with every QB turning into a bust under Gus Malzahn after his offense was figured out.

Kiffin is rolling with something called Trinidad Chambliss from Ferris State.

That tends to happen when everyone has figured out to double those guys and leave everyone else open, because Arnold refuses to look and throw to anyone else. But that’s on Austin and Freeze for not telling him, or maybe they do. I don’t know. In that screenshot, there’s 3 guys open, and Arnold is doing nothing except looking at Coleman.

That kid isn’t scared to death to throw the ball though.

Thats probably a result of his coach scouting his game tape before making him an offer.

This is true, or he actually looked at the scouting reports and film already out there. Freeze reminds me of those females that think “I can change him.”

I'm def not excusing the coaches. 1 they make the evals on those portal players and 2 I'd fire Thornton this week. That's not to excuse everything else wrong either, but that's a change that can be made now.

Freeze isnt smart enough to out scheme anyone. I dont think we have a system. We just call random plays.

Could we at least run a wheel route to a RB once in a while???
