The day that we turn away black students that can get a full ride at Harvard for being black will be the day I stop being an Auburn fan. Clerical errors can happen against anybody. In the meantime, I am going to assume you aren’t telling the complete truth.

The info on student enrollment and decline is on the Auburn website as well as the decades of "taskforces" charged to correct it. Some of the meeting notes are there too. Specifics about legacy kids can be learned by talking to Black alum. They're easy to find on social media. But hey ignorance is bliss. Enjoy it!

We should base everything on quotas.
Every company should be divided 70/30 in the state.
Every 10 managers should be 70/30.
Every football, baseball, basketball, etc. should be 70/30.
Equal representation of the demographics. Right?

oh and to the other guy about TU...replace TU with Al A&M or ASU or UNA or some other college that may be cheaper and commuter. Most people have money issues. I know I did. I did get a good scholly to AU but had to put years of my life on the line for it.

So what is it? AU wants to systematically limit AA students or are they protecting them.

If we are using 2023 rules, the school should take action against the club. But they won’t. They will Cover it up and move on because no one is rioting over it.

Let's just make this easy. How about we try to create a world where we don't try to throw insults at anyone based on their race. That seems that would be the best way to raise all of our children. That's why there's a problem with letting some people get away with it and others not.

The University statement was: "These comments did not occur on the Black Student Union GroupMe nor as part of any recognized Auburn University organization channel,”
I don't know what that means exactly. It could mean the comments weren't on the GroupMe at all and this was a doctored screenshot. Either way I am old enough to wonder why a "whistleblower" wouldn't go directly to the university with this info but instead to an ultra right-wing organization. Perhaps to create the kind of outrage and division it has here.

I think that would be an incredible world. Unfortunately, it’s not happening now and it never will. I think it will be more realistic that we get to a point where someone uses words that insult you, we don’t pay them any attention. That would probably do a better overall job of stopping it than what we are doing now.
As long as there is a power struggle going on, which is exactly what is happening right now, people are going to feel like they are being disrespected, which intern lead to some of this bullshite. It’s just human nature, unfortunately.
Like you, I would love just an even keel world where people got along. I’m just not smart enough to know how to get there. We seem destined to destroy ourselves.
