Size isn't anymore of an issue for him than it is for Dee Davis though imo. I wouldn't take him as the only QB in this class, he's still too raw for that.. But I would love to bring in a highly ranked guy and then bring Castellanos in as the 2nd QB.
Do you think Castellanos has size issues? He’s listed on 247 as 5-11 190. While there have certainly been several college QBs that have been in the 6’ range that have been extremely successful (Kyler, Baker, Russ Wilson) it is not as likely. Is he young for a Jr and may still hit a growth spurt?

Stockton just committed to UGA lol.
I’m not even going the bagman route, but if the kid is that dumb to sit behind Vandergriff and didn’t watch Justin Fields transfer away, then oh well.

Yeah, from the film you linked, he looks like he has a lot of potential. Like you said, he’s raw but he has a live arm and can make plays. In a 2 QB class, I think my preference would be Jacurri Brown and then Tanner Bailey, but Castellanos could make a good development prospect

Rivals is saying that we’ve started talking to Juco 3* LB Joko Willis. He’s originally from Lagrange and is friends with Kobe Hudson and Tank. Played at Independence CC which is where Kammal Hadden and Dre Butler played. 6’3 218

I tried to tell people Bobo was over rated as a recruiter. Stockton was supposed to be a lock to wherever Bobo went. I'm gassing up my Thomas Castellanos bandwagon now though, feel free to get on board whenever you want.. He's smaller, but he's every bit as good as Stockton and plays tougher competition.
Dude, he has been on staff what...a month? It isn't always as cut and dry as a kid will follow a coach anywhere. Also, he committed to UGA...ok....he also committed to USCe. There is still a year away. Plenty of time for Bobo to do work. Even the best recruiters do not win them all. Damn

In all honesty..........I would not want to play behind our OL at the moment either.

Joko Willis has 4 years of eligibility left according to KN who spoke to his high school coach. He took a redshirt he first and his season was cancelled this year.

He wouldn’t be playing behind our line at the moment. He is going into his senior year.

KN@247 learned that UT is in no hurry to release Brooks. Probably going to take a few weeks

Auburn has re-offered ‘22 4* QB Ty Simpson.
Also offered #1 ‘22 OT, 5* Zach Rice. Long shot, but the new staff is going after everyone

Auburn recruiting was hampered without on campus visits, early signing period, etc. We have 14 spots but it will be this summer before we fill it out. Will try my patience

Because even a late season 2-3 star will be better than having yet another void.

It’s really not. Packing classes with bodies turns a one year problem into a 4 year problem. That’s not going to happen.
With the current signees and projections for NSD, we’re looking at 19-20 guys that are all legitimate SEC players. We typically, under Gus, would only sign several more anyways.
There’s more roster spots to fill but those will be addressed with transfers.

Auburn reoffered ‘22 Branson Robinson. Currently a 3* RB from MS, he is certain to be a higher 4*. Offer list is stacked. UGA, Bama, LSU, and so on.
