I’m proud of the team and how they performed overall on Defense was pure elite play.

It wasn’t just one thing that lost that game it was several.

That loss hurt, but those boys ran through a brick wall for each other, their coaches, their school, and us fans.

We could have won a game we were predicted to lose by three TD’s.

Thank you young men for the battle and putting it all on the line. I’m sorry you lost.

Mason cost us the game running the scared prevent/deep coverage defense with no pressure on that last drive. Those kids played their butts off all game. I kept waiting for a collapse and it really didn’t happen until that last drive when the playcalling changed, like I mentioned.

Special teams was fantastic. Chapman was a huge weapon and Patton was clutch.

Offense was abysmal, especially the OL, but TJ hurting his ankle certainly didn’t help anyone. Playcalling also didn’t help much.

Not sure how to feel about next year if we stick with Mason and Bobo, which I expect at this point.

Speaking of which, how was he not the target on that 2nd 2 point play instead of Jackson? Jackson is the go to guy? Bobo man…

I thought there was no chance Patton hits the 49 yarder but he drilled it

GTFO

Plenty of threads to throw your negative shite on. This was a props thread only.

I curse you with two years of ED, if you already suffer from ED, then I curse you with Bell’s palsy for the rest of the year.

When a team plays as hard as Auburn did, I can live with the results. Always have, it’s great to be an Auburn Tiger. In a one play game, you can always find plays that could have changed the outcome. But, We controlled what we could control and that is all you can do.

Did you watch the last, and most important, drive? His playcalling on it was the difference. He ran a scared defense instead of going after Young like he had all game, which had been working. That’s what I’m referring to specifically. Obviously the offense being atrocious and unable to move the ball more than 10 yards in a drive was what really cost us the game. But yeah.

One question about the defense, even though this was the best, I mean the best they played all year against a very good offense.

On Alabama's last drive in regulation, it was stated that Mason changed our D up on that drive.

Is that true? I haven't seen the replay, and although I was there, we were still getting pressure on him, but he would slide out of it and continue to bail them out with his throws.

If we had won that game in regulation, Chapman is the MVP no doubt.

Was good to see'

Also, I think we all owe Moultry a little love. That was his best game in a Auburn Uniform and he was a difference maker last night. I think that is the guy we all expected for the last couple of years

Have to admit it appears the coaches didn’t lose the team so I was wrong about that. What is frustrating is that we can go toe to toe with a team as talented as Bammer but can’t beat USCe the week before.

The players played their asses off. War Eagle boys.

I walked out of the stadium sad for the loss for the players, but certainly proud and in awe of how hard they fought. Still great to be an Auburn Tiger.

Mason's defense kept us in the game. They played above their level all game. So peddling the "Mason cost us the game" propaganda seems like pissing in the wind.

I think the whole team played their hearts out. A few play calls on each side of the ball were suspect but in the end our depth is what really cost us the game. By the 4th everyone was gassed.
