Green was selfish all season. Not going to be bad at all for the TEAM that he's gone.

Wen’s family is convinced that is Bruce’s post on ON3.

The content is obviously highly familiar to his family then. However it reads like sour grapes
We should not drag Wendell tho just because of his immature dad. He has done nothing but represent Auburn well despite his shortcomings.

Older brother was a stud at Rutgers so I would think they would have a decent shot

Agreed. Did not post that as my own personal opinion, just sharing what I’ve seen floating out there.

Damn, the Auburn faithful are out in full force against WGSenior after tweeting "Lol" to BP's kind gestured tweet about Junior.

You mean waiting until 3 seconds on the shot clock to launch an almost half court three or to drive and get blocked aren’t wise shite selections ?!?!?!? Any scout can tell you he isn’t nba caliber

quote:he has his limitations, but I thought he represented the school and team well. I will remember his play fondly. He stepped up where there weren’t many other options available out working at PG and kept the ship on course.

Okay, but why is the younger brother the “Junior” and not the older brother?
Somebody had to ask the real questions around here…

I am glad he is gone. Good riddance.

Also, it’s a bad comparison to call Wen the Bo Nix of basketball.
Nix got a lot of undue criticism and blame thrown his way. Wen is the opposite, he has gotten way too much protection and coddling from segments of the fanbase that were scared to call him out on his selfish play. He doesn’t have the right mindset to play PG the way he needs to. Wen wants to be the star of the show, when his talent and skill set dictate he needs to be a facilitator first. We need a team first PG. If you want to be a me-first PG then you better have NBA all-star level talent to back it up

One of the best PG’s in our history. All SEC. Wish he had a chance to play with a better overall shooting team.
Good luck to him.
All that said, Aden is clearly more talented and might be better day 1.

Supposedly WG's mom.
As someone who defended Bo and WG basically their entire tenures they feel the same to me..
Good players who bore the brunt of blame despite being far from the problem.

Parents shouldn’t be reading fan message boards… wherever he goes, folks are the same.
Wendell is fine… he did a lot of good, but will forever be frustrating… for me, he will never be Jared Harper, and that was my expectation.

Especially on message boards
I appreciate what Wen did during his time and when I was at Auburn he would’ve been one of the best players I watched
But the bar has been raised now and our expectations for the guard position are high and if you’re not that guy and not thick skinned you’re maybe in for a tough time

Well the families having to defend their son is definitely the same. Auburn family shouldn’t put parents through this.
Most fans like WG though….I’ve seen their posts littered with Auburn fan support and rarely a negative remark. I don’t think fans treated him badly.
I really don’t understand why his mother says it was time to move on. If her reasoning is the fans then she is lying.

He’s ahead of Jvon but behind Jared. Not sure how I rank Sharife with him only playing 11 games and not winning many but being basically a one man show lol
