Bruce/Butch have been pushing for the move for a while. Time for the school to just do it.

Yeah, not like he was gonna make a huge leap this year. He was a solid SEC pg and had a couple nice seasons for us.

As of now possible rotation outlook is:
Aden/Tre
Oliviari/KD
Jones/Dunn/Berman
Jaylin/transfer/Moore if he wants to come back and be a bit part
Broome/Cardwell

Would be a nice roster. Not sure how nice. Don’t think there’s an NBA player in the mix there but good mix of talent and experience and a lot better shooting

Wonder if NIL is having an effect on that. I know some guys have signed deals with Nike which eliminates non-Nike schools to attend

All I’ve been told was there’s a loophole for us to get out and Nike seems to be the leader.

I know you can buy Nike teams player’s jersey on Fanatics but don’t think we can as UA. Or I haven’t figured out how.

I’m assuming those Nike players get some cut due to NIL.

Hail we needed roster turnover in some ways. We were about maxed out in what this group could give.

I don't disagree

I havent bought any Under Armor stuff in 5-6 years besides the baseball hats. Moving to nike would probably change that. There are also NIL advantages to being Nike.

I would rather have Russell over Nike.

Nike’s love affair for gender neutral models for some reason continues to clutter my timeline.

As for athletic prestige: wouldn’t mind jumpman

Bruce Pearl

@coachbrucepearl
One of the hardest working most competitive players I've coached! Wen led Auburn to back to back NCAA TOURNAMENTS and the 2022 SEC CHAMPIONSHIP.

Hard to read anything into that other than Bruce wouldn't tell the Green family what they wanted to hear re: Aden incoming and keeping the keys in WG's hand.

Bruce has gone on record many times saying he never guarantees playing time or starting roles to anyone.

#2 recruit of the class of 2024 (Dylan Harper) has us in his top 5. Not sure how serious of a contender we are for him but I found it worth noting.

Ron Harper's son.

We've been in contention for Dylan for a while, earlier in his recruitment, Duke took the lead but now Auburn has fair game played.

Rutgers is the local school, Kansas/Duke has that pull, Indiana is looking for more talent to stock up with Notre Dame and Purdue. I say we're in a good position for his services.

We're probably in his top 3 of the 5, here's your info auburnnyc
