Bruce was making some podcast rounds this weekend and some of his comments were interesting regarding the transfer portal/HS recruits.
He basically said there’s only 25-30 kids a year now that are worth recruiting out of high school.
There’s no point in signing the kids that are projects because they won’t stick around long enough to play for you. Said that why would they put the work into them for someone else when they can let someone else do the work and then pluck them from the portal when they’re college ready.

Big problem is that none of the guys we know don’t cut it seem to be staying. If Berman, KD, and Moore return we still have the same shitass bench players. Need at least two of them to leave and replace them with consistent guys.
BP needs to advertise the 4 spot as being up for grabs make Jaylin flip the switch and become dominant or bring in another starter at the 4.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t a testing the waters situation. Wen played at the highest level he can this season. He was respected as an SEC PG.
