My wife tested positive two weeks ago. Aches, pains, very sluggish but no fever. She previously had a nagging cough prior to testing which has "gone away".
She is much better and fortunately did not have any respiratory problems.
My doctor thinks I have the antibody but does not want to test me until he feels the results can be accurate.

I lost my sense of smell and taste yesterday and me being the food lover I am have been put into a depressing mood not being able to enjoy food.

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend both have it and hasn't been much to it, fever, cough, and body aches. My wife works in the medical field and has dealt with multiple positive patients, I figure it's not if but when we get it.

I know 1 person personally who has gotten it. She is 24 and didn’t show any symptoms.

Work just allowed everyone to take a test today. I got tested about 3 weeks ago for antibodies and that came back negative, but like previously stated, unreliable.
Parent's neighbor was in ICU for a couple months. Family a couple doors down from us had flu-like symptoms. Family friends had all 5 test positive for antibodies, and never knew they had it.

We have some neighbors down the street that had it right at the beginning in March. Their kids had it, but not bad for them. The adults had it rough though.
Sister in law had it pretty bad. 33 and healthy, so I'm assuming maybe she has something underlying we don't know about, or has a blood type more susceptible to it. 2 weeks of flu on steroids, then a week of recovery followed by a week of walking pneumonia. Still has breathing issues/chest pain when she tries to exercise 3 months later and just found out she has a leaky heart valve. Not sure if it was caused by this or not.
My dad apparently had it in Feb without knowing. He had about a 2 week period where he didn't feel great and had cold/flu like symptoms, but not too bad. Got an antibody test and he had them, but they were low and not enough to give plasma.
More and more studies are showing that the antibodies for this thing don't last long and some people are getting it multiple times. Not sure herd immunity is the way out for this.

That's pretty bad news on the vaccine front. Means we will potentially need multiple vaccines/boosters every year.
Hopefully the mortality rate goes down upon subsequent infections. If that is also untrue, then I'm not sure where you go other than to say it's just around now and there isn't much you can do about it other than be vaccinated. Kind of like how we treat the flu.

So we actually just had a family friend test positive for COVID a second time. First story I’ve heard personally about that. He took the antibody test in April and he tested positive. He was very sick back in April so we just assume it was COVID, hence the antibodies.
Just tested positive one again and is not doing well. This year has been a real kick to the nuggets.

Is she sick or just have a positive test? Hope she does not have any issues with it.
Got word from my wife that they have a 54 year old male with covid now that is on a vent and not expeted to live. Works out of his home and has no idea where it came from

Sick but not awful. Lethargy, can't get motivated to do anything. Other than that it's mild.

I have two friends who were on a cruise ship out of Australia that was contaminated by it. It was a huge story in Australia. They were told that they had been exposed to it when they got back to the States and self-quarantined. They were never tested, but went through some of the symptoms, her more than him. Fatigue was the main symptom they experienced. Both are fine now. Both are in their early 60s.

Yeah, mom is 66. She's pretty pissed at her husband, who brought it home in the first place, partying hard and bar hopping with masks/distancing being an afterthought. She had planned to join my family on our upcoming vacation, but that's not happening now.
I'm lucky I haven't caught it yet. I work in hospitals and clinics all damn day (dialysis water field service engineer). I'm diligent with the masks, but I'm sure I've been exposed out the arse. I tested negative a few weeks ago.

I wouldn’t trust anything coming out right now concerning immunity and antibody.
I am betting we will see some miraculous things happen concerning covid in or around November.

For those who think that if under 50 or 40 or 30 means you are going to get through this, think again. Here is a report from the infectious disease doctor at EAMC in the last 2 days where the numbers in the hospital has doubled in 2 weeks:
“We are seeing younger patients lately who are very sick,” Maldonado said in the press release. “We have had patients in their 30s die from COVID-19, and 3 of our 12 deaths this month have been under the age of 50. Some people have a hard time taking this seriously because they have only seen mild or asymptomatic cases among family and friends.
“What we have seen in the hospital is that you can take two people with the same age and comparable health, and one will barely have any COVID-19 symptoms and the other will die from it.”
That's what blows my mind from people that post that it is a hoax or that its no big problem for younger folks..
So please wear a mask to be sure...

Of course one of the few things that physicians and epidemiologists seemed to have reached consensus upon is that the level of exposure is proportionally related to how sick you become from the virus. And of course viral load wasn't brought up in the ER doc's comparison.
Truth be told, since the numbers on cases/hospitalizations/deaths are so completely unreliable (in both directions), we really have virtually nothing but anecdotal evidence to go on.

You're right too.
Without knowing how MUCH exposure each person had, it might have made a difference, since the number of droplets can determine the degree and infectious rate a person ends up with.

My step mom told us this morning that she tested positive. She is on week 2 now. Said that her having the flu earlier this year was way worse.
My dad tested negative.
