Thanks. But the NIL cap applies across all athletics across the university. I have read that Auburn football plans to spend 25 to 30M. Is there anywhere that is documented or is that numbers that have been made up based on speculation and rumor.

That includes NIL money from the collective. Collective money will also go to other sports. Football gets the lion's share, naturally.

I have read that also. I don't think any university will come out and declare what the actual number is for any sport.

He sucked an extra $1 million out of the football budget. How much would that money help to retain players?

Not trying to be asshoe, but how would you split that million up to retain players?

Pick one guy and give them the whole thing thing? Target 4 guys with $250k each? 10 with $100k?

At what point does that get diluted enough so that it isn't persuasive?

I wouldn't dare speculate but we didn't get a big in basketball and that speaks volumes.

Bruce said he offered the kid that went to Michigan a little over $1M. That wasn't enough.

Bruce said that during the Auburn Michigan game. Bruce said 1 million by Auburn didn't even get him to the negotiating table.

Auburn also couldnt afford a backup 4 for the final 4 run. Have to think a good backup 4 could've been the difference in beating Florida. Chaney Johnson played like a God and he needed to because he is all we had.

Crawford and Blockton are the only 2 I care about losing so far. That could change to Perry if Cam leaves.
