That is my biggest worry. Gus needs to branch out some. We saw more slants this year than we have seen in Gus' years combined. I have to think Dillingham is the reason why.

Gus and Morris run the same base offense but Gus has more power running concepts mixed in while Morris has a more dynamic passing tree. I'd love this marriage.

Have to consider us kinda lucky getting Morris if he comes to Auburn. He used to be the hottest OC in the country and the only thing he failed at was being HC.

And his scheme is very compatible to Gus’s. Their relationship can be simpatico if he can use some of his passing wrinkles.

Agree with all of this.

FWIW I know for a fact that Auburn’s private jets have been to Dallas multiple times over the last week

I’m guessing Morris is the guy

Flight tracker requisite for message board coaching search is satisfied.

Anybody know the real estate lady talking to Morris’s wife?

They’re not traceable on FlightAware

I found a new secret way to track them

Lately just been seeing the planes mostly around the southeast seemingly recruiting related

Over the last week or so I’ve seen Dallas a couple of times, Nashville, small towns for recruiting like Selma Al, Atlanta etc

Gus will be calling the plays again, so it doesn't matter who gets hired as OC. Wake me up when Grimes is finally gone, and we get a Oline coach that can recruit.

Stop it. Morris is not coming to auburn if he isn’t calling plays

Sorry if I missed it but any idea if Dilly will stick around for bowl?

Think CM (or new OC) will be hired prior to bowl and coach during the bowl if Dilly has departed?

I agree, but it won't happen.

So you might as well get a guy who is great at running what Gus likes to run, as perhaps he'll have the relationship and credibility to push Gus away from tendencies when needed.

Mortis will come and Im goid with it. He is not a good HC but he is a good OC. I think he will improve passing game and is someone gus will actually listen to.

Not big on the Morris direction. This would just be more Gus.

I love this hire, Morris is the best we can get out of the small pool that Gus would hire. Yes Gus will still be running the offense but at least we know Morris can recruit, has experience in big programs, and with big players.
